Very disappointed. I was sold some cold chicken today around 5 pm. There were a few cars in the drive through when I arrived so I thought surly they would have hot fresh chicken but no such luck today. This was the first time I had been to this Gillespie Street location during the week. I usually stop by after church on Sunday. ??
Terrible service the young lady's working there, were too busy gossiping with each other and not the customers. I got the 10 piece special with fries and Mac n cheese. The chicken wasn't spicy and look at the Mac n cheese. I will never go there again. I recommend no one else either.
Usually we love Popeyes spicy chicken sandwiches (would have rated it 5 stars), but the 2 we purchased on Friday (therefore the 3 star rating) were extremely greasy. We decided not to stop at that particular location again.
Waiting to order at drive thru Been in line 10min now and spoke into the microphone no answer. Went inside still waiting to be called next. Not acknowledged that people are waiting and employees out side smoking 1 person starting to take orders. Then orders and orders was wrong. Ask for white 3 pc got dark. 3 people in line and still waiting. Trouble business right here.
Their attitudes are bad and the chicken was soggy as if it was sitting under a lamp all day, the buns for my sandwiches were also hard as a rock. I recommend making the extra drive to the one on Skibo if you want fresher tasting food.
Yesterday, Friday, February 25 2022, l visited Popeye's on Gillespie St. In Fayetteville, NC. This was my first visit to this particular franchise and l was pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious, it was piping hot! The employees were very nice, and courteous! AND THE WAIT IN LINE AT THE DRIVE UP SERVICE LINE WASN'T LONG AT ALL!!!GREAT JOB "POPEYE'S" ON GILLESPIE ST!!! I will be back!
The worst of the worst places I have ever ordered food from. My husband and I did an online order tonight. THE ORDER APP said the food would be ready in 15 minutes. We arrived at this location 30 minutes after placing our order. Yes.... You guesed right order still wasn't ready. My husband waited inside the lobny for another 30 minutes. Oh... And on top of that they still got my $45.00 worth of food wrong. We are missing 2 of our sides and our food was so cold. I should get an apology and my food replaced. I know for a fact that my order can be traced through ordering it online.
Very unprofessional. Employee took chicken returned by customer after the customer had went to the dining room and put it back in the fresh cooked chicken to be reserved. I definitely will not eat there or recommend it to anyone. Staff there is also very unprofessional and uses a lot of profanity esp the f bomb out loud .
Ordered fried chicken and mashed potatoes. Fried chicken smelled bad, very greasy. Got home and realized there were no mashed potatoes but rice and beans. Very disappointed.
Don't go to Gillispie St if you want chicken. All you'll get is some mess. Order a spicy thigh and you'll get a mild breast, twice. Instead of trying to make it right, all you'll get is an arguement and you still have to ask for a refund after all that... not worth the trip.
