Service was bad,I ordered appetizer never came yet charged me,had to remind them about my soup tland charge you gratuity without letting me know and still wanted a tip

I wish I could not select a star at all. The service horrible. The owner HORRIBLE,lacked compassion, rude, unkept, not wearing a mask while out on the floor and interacting with customers. ATTEMPTED TO Visit for my daughters birthday. After driving a hour away, I was told there was a 20-30 min wait. I waited in the restaurant for 15mins before asking could I go to the school right up the street. I was told by a hostess that I had time on my reservation to leave and come back. I stayed at the store for 10mins and a two minute drive back. When I returned the hostess let’s me know they have given my table away. When requested a manager, the manager comes over with no mask and tells me there is a hour and a half wait for another chef. There is no compassion for the hostess giving the table away. There is no accountability for the hostess giving away the table. The manager/(owner) never once apologized rather criticized how upset I was in front of my daughter. I’m beyond upset and disgusted with the service and accountability of the Staff and “OWNER”. The female manager would not even let me speak to “Wayne” who she said was the part owner. She stated he doesn’t come out the back to talk to customers. This establishment will never get a recommendations or anything concerning my business. I do not recommend nor would I ever do business of the sort. My daughter now on a school night ate Chick-fil-A and wasted the rest of her birthday night as well as the travel time. I hope they get better management and training for each associate. *upon arrival I also told the first hostess my name and she listed me as Friend instead of my name so confusing that the second hostess did not even know I had even checked in before I asked to leave*** Manager never offered an apology or empathy at all to my 11yr old.

Our first visit, for a birthday, was just wonderful! Jerome, our hibachi chef, was excellent as a chef and conversationalist with us. The server was quick, refilled drinks in advance, and was very pleasant. The ambiance was pleasant albeit a tad warm, but we were hubachi side. We will return, gladly.

I enjoyed every minute of it the cook was awesome n the waitress was excellent I will be going back and telling my friends

Have been going here for a few years now and never had a bad experience...until the day of my birthday. *Please note they DO NOT do reservations* We had a party of 7 people coming. We were told it would be an hour and a half wait for the Hibachi grills in the back, so we waited. When they were finally ready for us, 1 person was less than 3 minutes away coming from out of town and they would not seat us without all being there. The hostess got rude when we questioned this and told my mother we don't have to eat there if we don't have the full party (one person literally a minute away). I stepped in to ask what was going on, at this point the hostess stormed off and got a floor manager and she too got very rude with me when I was being polite to say that my 7th person was literally pulling up and ask if we could be seated , she refused. She told me the same that we were being rude and we don't have to eat there or just leave. No one was being rude to either of them. I was in shock. Then she too stormed off. Thank God the actual restaurant owner was there to fix the situation after that. Everything turned out fine in the end but the hostess and the floor manager should learn better customer service if they can't handle a simple question. I was completely disgusted by them. The cook and waitress were excellent to us once we were seated, which is why I am leaving 2 stars instead of zero. Please Owner's, train your front staff with better capacity to address your customers. I will not let this one experience deter from the rest I had here that were great, but please fix their attitudes in the front. First impressions are everything.

We had a great time here with the family. The service is great, so is the food. Everyone loves the interaction with the chef!

The wife and I decided to try this place for our date night. We have four young boys and very rarely do we get time to ourselves so we were excited to try this place out. When we arrived the restaurant itself look great. The atmosphere was very inviting. The server we had was very friendly and took care of us right away however we sat at the Hibachi Grill for more than an hour waiting on the cook which made us very frustrated so we decide to leave and try somewhere else before they close.

Service is ALWAYS on point but cook that we had Friday night seemed to had rushed the food and it did not taste good at all. I was disappointed say the least. The rice is one of my reasons for going and it tasted nasty. Still white in some areas without enough soy sauce or whatever it be....and it was clumpy. I think the rice brand changed because the rice use to be more loose but now compacted and sticky.

This review is in regards to Mikoto Express and not the steakhouse. Unfortunately, they do not have a page on their own which is why I am publishing this on here so the owner(s) are aware since the express side is part of their business.I've always eaten at mikoto express, I've never had an issue with their food. In fact, I've always enjoyed it but the last couple of times have struck me differently. The cooks are not wearing masks, their sanitation grade has dropped, there is no attention to detail in how they are preparing their food, staff is not dialed in to their respective work. My most recent trip which was yesterday was the last straw.Meat was OVER seasoned, bathrooms were dirty, no paper in dispenser, no soap is dispenser. It hurts me to do this because I too own a business and I know how important reviews are but this can not go unseen. Owners have to make an immediate change asap or else they are going to continue to lose business. I wish them the best.

We love this place! It was nice to enjoy my boyfriends birthday this past Sunday. We only had 2 other people at the table due to Covid and it was peaceful. Our cook and the food was great. We will be back soon!
