Cool place to eat. I went for breakfast. Seems to be a local favorite. Military friendly, decor makes the place feel cozy and welcoming. The waitress was SUPER friendly & funny, definitely knew her way around the menu with great suggestions. I took her photo because I am bad with names. I would have rated it a 5 but not a fan of having dogs (or pets) in a restaurant. A couple had a small dog (it was well behaved and only at their table in a open container)with them in the dining area.
They don't lie about their menu, some of the BEST fried chicken and waffles around! Really nice and thoughtful servers/hosts, I felt like everyone was so supportive of each other and that it was a great work environment. It was a little chaotic getting a seat, seemed like the host/servers were running around a bit so it took a while, but worth the wait!
I saw a review talking about the chicken and the strawberry butter and I really wanted to try it, well, I'm not disappointed it was absolutely delicious. Chicken's flavor is so fresh. I guess this plate is enough for two people. Our waiter was so nice. Thankssss ✌️☺️
great food Brandon our server was amazing. my go to breakfast spot?
I am once again visiting my mom and had to come to my favorite breakfast spot. And boy they didn’t disappoint! Since it was Mother’s Day I did a pick up order of the croissant French toast with bacon and a vegetarian omelet with hash browns and wheat toast. The portions are enough to share. I haven’t tried lunch or dinner yet but I see that in my very close future. Good service! Good Food! Good portions! What else do you need?
The food here was decent, but for the time we had to wait to get in (1 hour 15 minutes) and the time to get our food (35 minutes) it was not worth the wait. For as popular as it seemed, I really expected more. Our server was very intense and excited about his job and the location and though it may have been a little much, I did appreciate that he cared that much about who he worked for and clearly loved the location.I do appreciate the texting for our check in as we were able to wander the local shops before we were called. They do not have a liquor license so I found it a little weird that they make their drinks with wine like a bloody Mary with sake though my fellow guests didn't seem to mind.Take out and online orders were going out quickly, and it seemed like that was at the expense of the patrons in the restaurant. The prices were very good and the food tasted good as well. Not many complaints there, but would not likely wait in the line again for very basic brunch food.
We waited about 45 minutes BUT the food was soooo delicious. I ordered the steak and scrambled eggs bowl added with onions and mushrooms. Wow, it was the best steak and eggs that I had thus far. The hostess and waitress(Brianna) were accomodating and willing to help you. Good food and customer service ?is tops. Thank you for a great experience.
Great little diner. Food was delicious as was the coffee. Hubby loved his "fruity waffle" and the hash browns were tasty!
The breakfast @ the Metro Diner was very good. The portions were of good size. And the staff was so very friendly, courteous and nice. I would definitely recommend the Metro Diner as a place for a good meal.
Great service. Thanks!!!!
