I teach basic beginning Spanish in the after-school program in our grades K-10th downtown charter school called The Capitol Encore Academy.They recently prepared sampler trays for our 8 - 10-year-olds for the end of the year Hispanic food tasting and they loved it.Kids are picky eaters but they could not stop coming for more!! The service and food were beyond amazing and the owners are extremely dedicated.Thank you for everything. ?

My favorite place. El Guapo loves to eat here. The bi mofongo (plantano y maduro) is first rate and I love the carne frito. Also try the burrifongo. I promise you will fall in love. I wish they were open during the week.El Guapo!
The ribs are to die for.The seasoning was all the way threw to the bone.Very tender.Cooked to profection.
Honest opinion // the customer service 10/10 super friendly the environment and setup was good they had music playing and a play area for the kids only complaints are the empanadas we’re not fresh and we’re cold when I got them also pinchos did not taste authentic and were honestly really bland lacking smoked flavor compared to coquis pinchos. The rice on the other hand was perfect ? tasted amazing and beans had lots of flavor. Piña colada’s was really good too def recommend ? they are taxing too very pricy for street Puerto Rican food ? but yeah other than that it was good ?
Thank you for opening on Cumberland !! LolWe are from Florida and I miss PR food ! Rice with pork soooo good !! Definitely going back ! Would love white rice and beans !! Might get pork chops next time ! Spaghetti Spanish style is good too !
