Service was good no complaints
The blue berry pancakes that were ordered were very thick and the sauce that came with it was extremely thick and wasn't even enough to cover them. Bacon that came with the pancakes didn't look cooked enough either.The Belgium waffles that were ordered also was extremely thick meaning when I cut into it, it had the consistency like a cake didn't even finish them and I love waffles and never have I ever not once finish eating them. The hash browns weren't that good either, will not go back will be going waffle house from now on.
I had a great breakfast experience today with the service of Giante, he was very attentive and courteous. He memorize our order and everything was perfect. He even practice his Spanish with us, even though we speak fluent English.
Arrived at 2:15. Seated immediately received menu and coffee and water. Waiter didn't return for our orders. He and another person were in another part of the restuarant having a heated discussion. Finally I asked another waitress if she would take our orders after waiting for 20 minutes. Now 35 minutes later and still have not received our orders or coffee refills. Some never empty coffee cups.
We were trying to find a place to go all morning on Sunday the 20th. Holiday weekend made it impossible but IHOP was great. They got us in and seated quickly. The staff were nice and prompt. Our server was a great young man who remembered to ask if I wanted a drink for my toddler. Most people won't even bother asking about her. So we definitely had a great time. My only complaints are small. The coffee was a bit watered down and there wasn't enough butter on my Waffle. But like I said they were busy so I figured it was due to the rush
The food was great but our server was not. We felt as though she was in a rush to.get us out of there before she even took our drink order. Clearing our plates as my children still ate / brought the check while we were still eating.
My main problem with this place is that the servers NEVER write down our order! This means on average 7 out of 10 times something is off with our order. I don’t know if servers think it’s cool to not write down orders, but it’s infuriating to the customer! This happens at other restaurants too, but IHOP is the biggest culprit. You also need to ask for refills and very rare a server comes back to check on you. Food was good, service not so much.
Worst experience. The syrups and condiments were all open without lids the whole time on a a table near the entrance. We waited an hour for food and had empty cups the whole time. I won’t be back.
This is my favorite breakfast spot. My Mother and I enjoy her birthday breakfast. Thanks IHOP!
The food was great and the service was great. Our food came out with in 10 minutes or less and the server made sure we did not want for anything. Thank you so much.
