Me and my wife ate here at Fortune Cookie Restaurant the other day for lunch, and what a gem in Fayetteville!!! You definitely have to give them a try!! They not only have great Chinese food but they also have Korean style Chinese food as you see in the photo Jja Jjang Myeun (black bean paste noodles) and Jjam Bong(spicy Seafood noodle soup) we also ordered their fried PotStickers/dumplings and ohh man…so good!!

THIS IS A LONG DETAILED REVIEW. Very small serving sizes, they did not fill my whole plate. I asked for seseme chicken with a side of rice. I got an order of rice with a side of chicken instead. Chicken was very dry stringy and tough. You know the kind of chicken I am talking about from a Chinese restaurant. The chicken has a distinct "soapy taste" akin to being cooked in cookware that was not properly washed or rinsed. The sesame sauce used on the chicken was pretty devoid of any depth to it's flavor profile. Interestingly in the sauce I can almost swear I nearly taste a tomato base.Moving on, the fried rice was very pleasent, this restaurant opted for a recipe that uses egg. The way the egg was used in the rice was very clever and tasty, a cross of scrambled egg and rice to describe it plainly. Finally, the crab Rangoon I ordered came in a classic triangle shape, to my pleasent surprise the shell that contained the filling did not taste of burned frying oils. Instead I found the shell to have a nice crunch that was not super hard or tough. The filling itself was well made, no other comments on the crab rangoons.Perhaps most humorous of all, for getting lunch at a place that is named fortune cookie Asian restaurant, I did not receive a fortune cookie with my order. ?Admitingly I did not sample the Korean menu. Perhaps the Korean menu is better. but that is not for me to find out. Ultimately and sadly, I will not be returning to this location. Between the portions, quality of chicken, and the passing of credit processing fees on to customers, it is too much for me to overlook.very nice interior. Expect a 3.5% upcharge if you use a credit card to pay for your food.

Food was excellent! It definitely was fresh. The lady who took my order was funny lol. The language barrier may make some people not get that she's making jokes with you. They are making your food fresh and they seem to take pride in that. I will definitely be going back.

The best Chinese food in Fayetteville! Today I got the Orange Chicken. The chicken was not soggy but perfectly crisp and light.

While the food is good, the customer service is horrible. I have dined in twice, this evening 5/27/22, making it my second and last time. The lady that was the waitress has a terrible attitude. This restaurant has the potential to thrive, if they put and keep her at the back of the restaurant. While I understand them being short staffed, but it’s no reason to be rude to people, like we “have” to support their business.

I am very happy that I gave this restaurant a shot. There is a mixture of Korean and Chinese food. It was delicious and freshly made. I thought the pricing was reasonable and appropriate for the portion of food you receive. The inside is absolutely immaculate on cleanliness! It was not too crowded and had plenty of seating to choose from. I loved how friendly and personable the staff were as well. They were very outgoing and patient. This will definitely be a regular visit for me. If you love Asian food, I definitely recommend them.

My wife had an urge to order some Jjampong and there are not too many places in Fayetteville that serve it. But Fortune Cookie not only serves it, they serve it well. Spicy and full of seafood. Delicious and good value for the money. 100% recommend. I ordered take out, but the facilities are a nice place to sit down and eat with the family as well.

Wow. So much flavor in each bite. The egg rolls are so delicious! This is my favorite spot from now on.

Went to try this place for the first time after seeing the reviews and had a semi good experience. The food was pretty good but the service was not up to par. Seemed like if you weren’t of a certain type of ethnicity or military you got treated differently, I witnessed it three times including myself. Not gonna go into all the details but I’m hoping that the workers just had a overwhelming day and that it ain’t always like that in there for a certain group of people. Even one of the customers that was of a different ethnic background stated to another one of a different background that they had been there and the food was good but acted like they didn’t wanna serve certain people and stated that were not gonna keep business not serving everyone the same. This area is the wrong side of town to wanna target just certain groups of people because it’s very diverse

Our favorite spot! We’ve been coming here since they opened and never disappointed. The food is always hot, fresh, and consistent and the portions are great too. Very clean and the owners are so nice. Highly recommend the spicy hot pot..delicious, just the right amount of spice. Mongolian beef is on point! Sweet and sour chicken is my favorite because their sauce is different and not the super sugary kind everywhere else serves, also the chicken is actual real chicken (not that processed stuff) lightly breaded and fried. Absolutely LOVE the kimchi! Being half korean, I love that they have a small menu of korean dishes when I want comfort food or to mix it up.
