I want to give El Cazador a shoutout for great customer service and of course wonderful food. On Friday I placed five orders to go, one order was missing a meal. They went over and beyond to rectify the matter, even provided free delivery!
Great food- great service
Used to love this place. But recently it all has went downhill. The quality of food has declined. Servers and waiters are not attentive and they take forever to even take your order. Server never came back after giving us our food and we waited over 20 minutes for our check. My food was bland and tasteless. Literally gave me burnt beans. My husband had a side salad with his order and the lettuce tasted like old dish water. Very disappointed. This place used to be my favorite spot. Won’t be going back.
This place has awesome decorations and the staff was very nice. We had shrimp cocktail, the specialty seafood bowl and steak fajita. Food is quite okay. My friends liked their orders. My seafood bowl had too much soup and very little crab not like they advertised. A bit pricey of course it's right next to the beach resort. Other than that, the overall experience was still pleasant!
The food, Service and Atmosphere is Excellent. We were shocked after all these years eating out that we just found the BEST Mexican we ever had. We will be regulars.
We ate at El Cazador tonight. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. Our food experience was not good. It started out with the chips and salsa. Our chips were cold and very stale. The salsa was just not good. Our next basket of chips were hot and were good. We ordered a cheese dip as an appetizer and Steak fajitas. Our cheese dip had a good taste but was cold and very thin. When we got our fajitas, we noticed they were not sizzling like normal. They were warm but not hot at all. This are on vacation and this was our first time at El Cazador. We had been told how good the food is. I guess we possibly went on an off night.
We come here pretty often and the food is always good. Service is hit or miss. Tonight, we had extremely slow service, empty on water and never asked if we needed a refill, food took forever and was not brought out at the same time. The waitress was very nice but seemed overwhelmed with her duties. Then, as we were leaving, we got stuck behind two cars going through the drive through… we had to wait over 10 minutes just to leave the parking lot because you cannot get around the cars in the drive through. They either need to widen the parking lot or make people come inside to get their food. It’s not right to make others wait (who are leaving or trying to park) wait like that with no way to leave.Food is great but today was a really frustrating experience.
We stopped for lunch and wished we hadn’t. It was nice and busy which normally is a good thing but our results were disappointing. I had three tacos based on the menu saying they had homemade tortillas and the beef cheeks, my wife had a couple of chili rellenos. The taco tortilla was tough and nothing like any homemade ones I’ve had other places. The beef cheeks were tender but had absolutely no flavor and it just made a bland taco. The relleno was underdone which means the pepper was raw with some cheese beef on top. The beef had an interesting taste but the raw pepper was terrible. Sure hate to say this about the best Mexican restaurant in the area but I’m sorry for what you don’t know what you’re missing when it comes from “authentic Mexican” food!
First of all the food is amazing. The Quesabirria tacos are to die for, juicy and lots of cheese. Second, I mistakenly left my debit card there on a Friday night and did not realize it till Monday. I called and they did have it. The lady I talked to when I got there was so sweet. It is nice to know there are honest people out there. I will keep going for sure.
Have lived here 30 years but have never eaten here. The restaurant has a nice and comfortable interior. The food was great. Guacamole was super fresh. I had the quesabirria tacos which were Delicious. We will definitely come back again soon
