It's so good. It was my family's first time here and everything we ordered was delicious. It was 100°+ today so we had ours as sundaes and it was perfect Definitely going back again to try the other flavors
I have been hearing about Duck Donuts for awhile, this morning at about 9:45 am finally went in. WOW... got the chocolate covered assortment, Its like “Art in a Box”. Gotta admit, couldn’t wait to get home so I had one in the car. Warm, soft and delicious , I’ve found the BEST thing about NC. Heaven in a box. Thank you DD
On a Sunday, I would have expected a lot more people working here. The place was packed and there were not many people taking orders or making donuts. It was very crowded by the door with the line being through the waiting crowd. The donuts were decent, but there was like no where to eat them. Not to mention the order was incorrect, likely due to noise level in the place.
Omg. So good! prices are good too. 2 bucks a donut but for what you get so worth it.
I’m a returning customer, so this isn’t the first time I’ve ordered here. The donuts are great, but the customer service is bad. Tonight we ordered at exactly 6:37pm and was told my order would be ready at 7:13pm. I arrive at about 7:25pm and ask the lady about whether the order was ready and one lady with pink hair just ignored me and walked away. The other worker said “she hasn’t started my donuts and that they were busy” I could see that and I totally understood. I was just genuinely asking because my order stated 7:13pm. Afterwards, I asked, “do you know about how long it may take?” I didn’t realize it was a crime to ask that since it was already 45 min since I made the order. I felt targeted because they proceeded to make other customers donuts before mine. I asked a girl waiting when she order and she said 30 min ago and she got hers before mine. When they finally got to mine, they made comments that I could sit there mad for 2 hours and that I shouldn’t “come in here asking when my order will be ready” I understand places are short staffed, but when workers are intentionally being rude and aggressive towards customers, something needs to be addressed. Hiring managers need to evaluate the kind of workers they are hiring. In the end, I said thank you and took my food. I won’t be ordering again.
Always a great treat when traveling is to find a Duck Donuts! So delicious! Friendly staff.
Duck donuts are amazing. I have to literally run from this place. I go every two weeks and my favorite is the boardwalk. It’s like a fried Oreo & then I add a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Yeah, this place is one of a kind. It just get you right in the sweet tooth. Donuts are made fresh and how you like it.
I just love Duck Donuts! It's one of the things I look forward to when I head south. Their donuts are always perfectly crispy and fresh. They must be enjoyed warm since they're significantly better that way. The store employees were nice but it was a little crowded.
Service was horrible!!!!! Employees were more concerned about cleaning so they could close instead of waiting on the customers. I walked in an hour and fifteen minutes before closing time. All we ordered were 2 shakes, all the employees were yelling at the shift leader that there was 2 milkshakes that needed to be made. I guess you need special training at Duck Donuts in order to work a blender. A couple that came in after us didn’t even order because they were told the fryer was already broke down for cleaning and an employee told them they couldn’t get hot donuts even though the shift leader was telling them they’d put it back together, the couple ended up leaving!! I would highly recommend going to another location or just stop at a gas station and get some Dunkin, because this place is horrible. If that’s the best you can do, just shut the doors and turn off the open!!!!!!
