The list of reasons is too long to type. However most recently not being able to make milkshakes or blizzards was over the top ridiculous for an ice cream shop. Truly piss poor staff and management to operate the way this location does.
The dining room was not open, but I did get two large banana shakes through the drive-thru and they were delicious :-)
This location has progressively gotten worse. I went in for a cake....ZERO cakes, employees sitting around doing absolutely nothing, and half the time they don't have what you ask for anyway
This is by far the worst experience I've ever had at a Dairy Queen. I waited with no response at the drive-thru for 15 minutes. I said hello and someone said just a minute. 5 minutes later someone asked if my order was taken. I ordered and waited 38 minutes and finally after waiting for them to correct the order of the car in front of me. She repeated my order that was completely wrong. I now sit here waiting. IT IS NOW OVER A HOUR IN THIS DRIVE-THRU. IF I COULD GIVE A ZERO STAR. I WOULD!!! I'VE BEEN OVER CHARGED FOR ITEMS. AT THIS POINT I'M GETTING A REFUND AND LEAVING WITH HUNGRY KIDS
First, let me start with the positives. The staff, even the teenagers, are always friendly & courteous. The ice cream is always delicious & the cakes are always made exactly as ordered. But the negative experience I had earlier this year will keep me from coming back to this location. For years I have ordered birthday cakes for my family from DQ. There are 5 of us, so that's a lot of business from one family each year on cakes alone. But the last time I came to pick up my order, I was told I had to come inside instead of using the drive thru window. The reason I was given was that too many people had driven off without paying. Well... it was pouring the rain, I had two kids in the car, & I wasn't feeling too well. Nothing contagious, but related to a disability - which made having to come inside even more irritating. If the cake hadn't have been for my daughter's birthday party, I wouldn't have come in to pick it up. Yes, a drive thru is a convenience... but as a business you shouldn't be telling customers they can't use it. I would have gladly paid for the cake at the window before someone handed it to me. Sounds like a much simpler solution than telling a customer to come inside, don't ya think??
The Weekend Teen Teams are not good at all. They are either not working or terrible. There is no adult manager there during the shift. Around 8pm on Saturdays.

I recently moved to the area and had my first dipped cone ever - I had no idea what I was missing! It's now my go-to treat for any reason, and this location is the best.
Google shows store's closing hour is at 9:30pm on Thursdays, but I went on that date at 9:19pm, and the worker at the drive-thru told me that only two items were available because the store closes at 9:35pm. The Blizzards were not available! Really! The main item is not available? I had to drive 4.5mi to get there and last time I check, the fuel is not free! Get your hours straight!
This is the most underwhelming location I’ve ever been to. The staff is very polite, but they are always out of things we are trying to order. They don’t have any Orange Julius, no hot dog buns, no fries, no malts, no whipped cream….come on now!
