The food was horrible. Fish looked old and raw. Didn't eat more than a bite. The tea, which is the only beverage they sell, was amazing. Come here for tea and hush puppies and nothing else.
Food was excellent, my Mama said they were the best of Fayetteville. We ordered from the Park and Pay. Line maybe extremely long but they work swiftly.
I just ordered the Manager's special which is 3 pieces of whiting, fries, and hush puppies. I ate the hush puppies and the fries (not hot & fresh ??). I tore a small piece of fish, and it tasted old. It wasn't old as in fried hours ago and reheated. No, it tasted old like it wasn't kept at the proper temp prior to cooking. I tried another piece just to be sure, and I was sure. I'm not taking chances with that, so in the trash it goes. I won't be back.
Everytime we visit it's hot ready and good to eat. Meet the owners son he is a very nice man, and I believe my wife meet the owner his mother last week. Very nice place to eat and visit.
The food is great and the costs is great. I usually get The Sinker which comes with 3 pieces of whiting, popcorn shrimp, hush puppies, coleslaw, fries and a sweet tea for $10. You can't beat it!
This is the best place for fish fries! Do not let the long drive through lines deter you as they go very quick. Everyone that works there has been very friendly. The fish is excellent and you get plenty of it. It's not overly breaded just a nice light breading which tastes good but you also taste the fish and believe me you get more than enough to eat.They have different varieties on plates but I always get the manager special. It is only $5 which includes tax. For that you hit three big pieces of fish a good amount of french fries and hush puppies as well. I don't know where else you can eat and get a full and delicious meal for that kind of money.
One of the best seafood spots in town hands down. Long wait times because food is made fresh to order. Dare you to pop one of those delicious shrimp in your mouth fresh out the window(HAWT!!) The ONLY reason I can’t give 5 stars is not all of the shrimp are deveined, usually end up throwing quite a few of the shrimp away. Not a huge fan of eating poop. But other than that!!!! The fish, hush puppies, food is good! a definite 26 staple.
All I can say is they must have some amazing food because the line was up the street! Unfortunately, I could not wait in line, but I plan to visit again soon so that I can give a fair review.
