How is this place open? Got absolutely nothing correct. Got EMPTY container instead of Cole slaw. Pathetic excuse of a place of business. They aren't entitled to be called a restaurant. BUT WAIT! THE SECOND PLATE I GOT HAD ONION INSTEAD OF SLAW. 100% PURE ONION AND NO CABBAGE. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
The first and last time I eat here. The food was raw. Absolutely disgusting
Dined in with my daughter for a daddy-daughter date. Shakes and burgers were good, but the fries were a little soggy. Great food for the price.

THIS COOKOUT NEEDS TO BE SHUTDOWN, I came about 10:00 Friday. They told me I was the first person to order and I would have to wait on FRESH FOOD. Hours goes by after eating and me and my family came down with food poisoning ?! Food was not cooked all the way very much sickening down to the fries, burgers and hush puppies. Seems to me it was a rushed job and didn’t care about others health/life.
One word, gross. If I could do NO stars I would. Cookout used to be really good even though they are pricey. Now they are just pricey and gross. Went there and my burgers were burnt, nuggets cold, and fries terrible. I dont even know how it's possible but the fries were burnt on the outside and not cooked on the inside. Also I dont know if the employees just hate their jobs but they are plain RUDE. My ketchup packs had something sticky on them (not ketchup)and made all of them stick together. Peeling them apart was just nasty. We couldn't eat any of it, waste of money. It was so bad my dogs didnt even want it. Do better cook out and be kinder to your customers! I wont be returning.
Seems that someone is more focused on speed and not politeness. Food was terrible this last visit. It is really hit or miss for food quality. The shakes are worth the trip.
Sorry to make this announcement here. We used to be seen in each other's company rather frequently. Some relationships can be destroyed by one simple act. This time it was an unannounced change. No more 99 cent shakes. This was the destination for treats for my many nieces and nephews. Used to be able to load the truck with as many as we could and go get shakes. Not any more. That same trip would now require a second mortgage and a personal loan. I know that prices go up and nobody wants to give away so much that they end up starving. So been looking around town for comparable milkshakes and found zero under 5 bucks that tasted like their claimed or reported flavors. That means that I will be back for a milkshake every once in a while but there will only be one person in vehicle. Go down to 1.49 special for shakes and we may become frequent visitors again. Please do not make us start a letter writing cam pain.???
The food is delicious. Especially their shakes and cookout style burgers (Carolina burger) but jfc, there is something always missing. I think I've been there 20 times and only once had an complete order. Check your bags before you pull off people!! I keep forgetting until I make it home.
