My husband and I ate there for the first time on 8/3 for our anniversary. He had the Sea Bass and I had the Chicken Parm. Words can’t describe how great the food was!! Service was wonderful! We will definitely be back.

Good food, Great service .I would definitely recommend this small but incredible establishment

great atmosphere and good food

Popped in early on a Saturday night. Everything was excellent, including the service. Fried green tomatoes were delicious, shrimp & grits were tasty, and the brisket was good. Cocktails were great! Will definitely return!

Had an amazing experience. The service was really good, the food was excellent, and the place is really cozy and cool. The menu is really small but with just enough variety.I had the 'southern chicken parm' it was absolutely perfectly cooked and seasoned. I would recommend it to any and everyone!

Terrific dinner in an intimate setting. The seabass was cooked to perfection over a bed of risotto and collard greens. Finished the meal with a fruity pebble bread pudding which was quite an interesting take on bread pudding.

We had a nice dinner here. We chose it as we wanted to eat outside. Jess, our waitress was great, tasty cocktails and we enjoyed the food: southern egg rolls, fried chicken and the asparagus dish. Plenty of food and we took some home for the next day. The only thing marring the visit was the number of really loud cars that drive up and down Main Street. Loud enough that it made it difficult to talk. Other than that it was a cute downtown.

My husband and I dined outside/Sat. around 730ish with very little wait. The hanging lights and flamed heaters set the mood perfectly. Our waitress (Raven) was very helpful in her knowledge of the menu. She was attentive in keeping our drinks refilled and checked on us numerous times. We started out with the fried green tomatoes. (Cooked to perfection and perfectly placed on what seemed to be a collard leaf) We asked for bread and it too was tasty. Raven said we would enjoy the lemon butter as well and it did not disappoint. My husband ordered the Salmon Curry. **menu description-** Pan seared/apple curry/carolina gold rice/root vegetable slaw/peanuts/sesame oil/herbs** Per my husband this dish was jam packed with flavor and added that the slaw & small hints of peanuts along with the added cilantro was a delight to his tastebuds. For me, the Shrimp and Grits was an easy choice. **menu description **sautéed shrimp/stone ground grit cake/collards/bacon/vidalia onions/cream sauce/garlic chives.** At first glance you can see this is not your typical shrimp & grits. The grit cake along with cream sauce incorporated with all that other yummy goodness is just ah-mazing and you just can’t eat it all as the portion is huge. This will be so good to finish off later. We look forward to going back ! Thank you for a wonderful date night!

Super awesome folks. I arrived early the rest of the party was running a little behind. The staff was patient and very understanding. Our waitress Jessica was spectacular. I asked about the bourbon selection. The bartender came to my table. He recommended a North Carolina bourbon, Big Winston. The man knows bourbon! We had the fried green tomatoes and the crawfish Rangoon for appetizers. My wife had the smoked coffee beef, I had the pan seared duck. Our friends had the shrimp and grits, and the filet tips. The food was off the charts. Thanks to everyone at Circa 1800 for a wonderful dinning experience.

Highly recommend! The food was so good I can’t put it into words! The service was excellent too, the owner was walking around talking to tables, very nice guy. Must try, you will not regret it!
