Its always difficult giving places you like poor ratings. However, the service at this specific location is just… not good. We’ve visited this location several times since we’ve moved here almost a year ago and there seems to be a running theme: wait staff are incredibly slow, whether its a half-packed house or a relatively empty house. Waiting to be greeted after being sat for an excess of 10-15 minutes is ludacris.I recall from our most recent visit being annoyed that I’d ordered a white wine and I was given a red instead. Similar in name, but two different wines. I was then charged for the red wine which was a few dollars more expensive for the 9oz pour - still frustrating but I didn’t say anything as our waitress was kind.I would likely give this location another chance, as we really do like the food - but I would implore the owner AND manager get involved with creating and maintaining better training standards. Waiting on your waiter for service is never a good sign.
Usually I love Carrabas. I come here for my birthdays. Tonight we had family visiting and decided to come here and the whole experience was just bad. We showed up at 830 to a mostly empty restaurant but still had to stand and look at all the empty tables for 15 minutes before being seated. Then after ordering drinks and 2 appetizers, got drinks, then placed dinner orders, then got salads and still no appetizers. After complaining ewe were told the fryer was down and the appetizer guy was new. Another member of our party waited ten minutes for a beer refill. Finally the appetizers came as we were getting our meals and the calamari was not even cooked all the way. Barely better than raw. Now this is not a normal visit but they were really off tonight.
I didn't like the food. My husband's dish was tasteless, the soup was heavily doused with salt and pepper, and the salmon with lemon butter sauce was distasteful. Our very first visit was a whole lot better! All in all, we won't be going back.
The food was absolutely delicious. Our waitress was fabulous extremely friendly and caring. The facility was very clean
Let me say first and foremost I have NEVER been so disgusted with a meal. I frequent Carrabba’s often however usually I go in and sit at the bar and enjoy a delicious meal, a few drinks and leave satisfied. That is why there are 2 stars currently. Long story short I place an order through a delivery service, given a starting time frame for the possible delivery, shows up an hour after originally given estimate. Originally 813-823. Now, on the delivery app it shows when the driver arrives and per this the driver waits almost 30 to get the food. Having worked a 15 hour day that started before 5 all I wanted to do was eat one of my favs and go to bed. Upon finally receiving my food I open it and it looks old, stick my fork into my pasta to twist and the entire dish moves and all comes up with the fork. My son calls and explains and offers to bring the food back to them if they will remake it and was then informed that I would need to pay again. I paid 31.00 for a meal that was old and disgusting and they blamed the delivery service. Again the driver waited on them for 30 minutes. ridiculous. .
We did curbside pickup. They were prompt with bringing the food out. I drove home which was about 5 minutes. Every dish was cold, and I got the trio which was basically appetizer serving size for $21. Our total bill was $67 for sub-par food. I am very sympathetic to the food service industry especially during Covid and I tipped $13. I not only regret going here, but I deeply regret tipping l. I will never ever go back to this place.
This place was amazing! I have been to a lot of Italian restaurants, specifically in CA, and none of these compare to this place! The food was seasoned well, extremely generous portions, the price is affordable, and the staff was very attentive. Did I mention the food being amazing? There were so many different flavor profiles I tried and was blown away. Can't wait to go back!
Inept Staff - Slow Service - Cold (and bad) FoodWe arrived at Carrabba's at 4:45pm on a Sunday, they weren't terribly busy and as such we were able to get a seat within 5 minutes of walking in the door. It took 15 minutes for the waiter to get to our table to take our drink order, another 10 minutes for him to bring the drinks (two bottled beers and a water) then another 10 minutes for him to come back and get our appetizer order. We didn't see our waiter for another 20-30 minutes for our entrée order, and our appetizer still had not yet arrived.At this point, we've been sitting at Carrabba's for just over an hour (now 5:05pm) and our food had finally arrived! Nice! or so we thought. The steak that I had ordered wasn't at all the right item I ordered (I ordered a 10oz-medium sirloin, got a 6oz-well-done sirloin instead). My colleague had ordered the Chicken Parmesan which came out cold. My steak was luke-warm at best and wasn't cooked properly. It's at this time that our appetizer made an appearance; we sent it back because we now had our entrée.The restaurant never got too busy (see my photos). So if you want to waste 1h to 1h 30m of your time on overpriced mediocre food, stop by Carrabba's!
