The food is normal very good as well as the portions. The only issue I have is when trying to call in my order. They take forever and a lifetime to answer. If they answer at all! Fix that part and I give back the fifth star.
No dine in but otherwise the food was good (I'm sure it would've been better had we not had drive another 20 minutes home to eat it) and they were friendly and prompt.
The level of mad I am right now. Please looks at my plate and tell me if this looks like a large to you all. This was a large I had not took any thing out my box because I could not wait to get home and take a picture for this review. I have been coming here since I was a child and the owners kids was kids. They are grown now and running the place if that lets you know how long I have been a customer. I will not be one now. Reason why the increase in price and you never decrease the price when the dining room was closed and you just had cooks and stage taking orders. Now another increase and still no dining room. I wish I had a picture from another restaurant I go to call captain Steve’s in Fort Mill, SC and Harrisburgs, NC. The put your large to shame. When they increase price I don’t care before they give you enough to eat on for at least two days. Please look at the pictures my mom had a small combination plate and had more if not the same amount of shrimp. Captain Jerry’s y’all need to do better.
First time going to Capt. Jerry's, on Good Friday. Had the salmon. Boyfriend had whiting. Serving size is good for price. Was not crazy about how the salmon was cooked, however, was good. Will definitely go back. Next time getting the whiting.
I eat here often. The food is ALWAYS HOT AND FRESH. The employees here are very nice and helpful, their Altitudes are the best. Keep up the great work you guys.
Portions are large. Still not allowing dine-in just carry-out options. Decent for basically fried seafood fast food.
One time I went 4 years ago the food was delicious. Me and my wife decided to go back a few weeks ago. When I searched for it it said that dine in was available. But when I got there you had to get it to go. The food was still good as I remembered. But I wish I could have dine in.
Today, I ordered my family fish from Captain Jerrys! I left for a few minutes and returned to pick it up! When I arrived at the window, one of the workers said my order was coming right up! While waiting, I looked through the glass and saw a man worker putting fish, shrimp, and hush puppies in boxes with his BARE HANDS! I notified the lady that took my order and told her I wanted a refund! She then went to get the manager and the manager stated that the new law says cooks don’t have to use gloves because the hot grease melts the gloves! I’ve been eating at Captain Jerrys for a long time, until now! TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!
Hadn't been to captain Jerry's in a couple of years sad to see that the dining room is not open.. So I had to order to go but my food was hot and it was delicious.
I have been wanting to eat there for a while now and called to see if they offer dine in yet - NOT!!!- give me a break and get on with it already - living in Hope Mills does not make it worth my while to drive 16 miles and back to have cold fish and fries for dinner - they don’t even offer delivery service which I wouldn’t use anyway (far too expensive) - MAYBE if they open their dining room next year (2023) they will see me again!!!
