Really good bbq and fried chicken! The chicken was so crispy, and still warm even driving 20 minutes home! The potato salad had too much mustard in it for my liking, but that’s all personal preference.
As authentic eastern NC pork BBQ as you are gonna find in a place that literally hasn’t changed the decor since I first started going in the 80’s. Don’t sleep on the fried chicken or the fried catfish.
Trash! I went there today (March 21, 2022). The food was disgusting and the service was just as bad. I know they've been closed on Mondays because they are short staff, well they need to continue to be closed because yuck. The sandwich was a soggy mess, french fries undercooked. Then I was given two ketchups for my fries, when I asked for another ketchup, I was told that would be an additional 20 cents each for any additional ketchups given. I would have been better off getting a barbecue sandwich from CookOut. DO BETTER!!
Stopped at BBQ HUT (2802 Fort Bragg Rd. ?️ 97 Sanitation) for late lunch today. Everything was perfect from the sides to the perfectly breaded chicken & great customer service ??? I ordered the Small Plate White which comes with 2 sides & 3 Hushpuppies. My Total was $7.29 but worth $10+ for how much you get. Was in line (Drive-Thru ONLY at the moment) for no more than 8 mins for Fresh cooked food is a WIN! Will remember to make the drive to support this great business.
Food here is always delicious. Sweet tea is best you can get anywhere. Good Home style cooking. What I would love is if they could make pulled chicken bbq. I don't eat pork anymore, but back when I did I loooved the vinegar based sauce they used on their bbq. Please make a chicken bbq
Its ok. Its a filler. If you're expecting some fancy BBQ or family sit down restaurant go somewhere else. I've had worse bbq for the price. Its fair
Always yummy!!!! Love the fried chicken, bbq sandwich and sweet tea! Today I tried the Rib plate. Soooo tasty, fall off the bones! 6 ribs, hush puppies, 2 sides and a drink!
Never disappointed. Fast, hot, delicious. Great hush puppies and perfect fried chicken.
This place is decent for not having to wait very long. It's definitely not the best, but it's quick, easy, and don't cost a fortune.
Man grew up right there off the Blvd.I just went 2 days ago(don't get to go as much because i live on Ramsey now)and it's like that spot never changes, in a good way whomever they get thier pig from is a pro,and they have a great vinegar based sauce that is the best I've had in some time. Its definitely a fayetteville landmark in my opinion.
