Went to celebrate my daughter's first birthday! My server Omar was incredible; the food not so much. I had the ribeye steak and ordered it medium (it was well done & tough), I ordered blue cheese dressing on my salad and got ranch, my garlicky green beans were burnt and over seasoned (inedible). My kids ate happily.
The wait was 15 minutes to be seated. Our waitress was really nice. The drinks and appetizers were on point!This visit was worth the wait! ✌?
We arrived 15 minutes after they opened. I had four other family members with me and we were seated immediately. The host quickly let us know we could scan the bar code and offered no menus. Our server was kind and already overwhelmed. The restaurant is short staffed and it shows, horribly. The oreo shakes were made in a rush with reminece dripping down the sides. The bourbon street steak was burnt. The onions weren't peeled. While the staff scurried around to try their best to serve the host stood at the podium with his chin in his hand in disgust. It's the worst 87.49 I've spent in along time. This was our six year old twins first visit to Applebee's and it was not a pleasant one. The picture below is of The Bourbon Street Steak.
Wrong food was brought out. Took forever. Tasted awful. Poorly cooked. Never ever again. I was part of a kind and low maintenance party of 8 and everyone was dissatisfied.
Got a to-go. They forgot half my order, when they brought the rest out, the sauces were 1/4-1/2 filled. The sauce on the wings was on there so light it was quite amusing. Still forgot celery. Either the ranch or the wings have a slight sour taste to them. I haven't even gotten to the rest of the food. Terrible food experience. However the lady on the phone was very sweet and the lady who brought the food out was very kind as well. So no complaints about the service. Just the food.
The food I found to be very good. The shrimp and mozzarella sticks were fabulously cooked, filling! My daughter’s smoothie was also tempting. Kendra did a great job at serving us. She has a wonderful personality! We initially each ordered a dish, and Kendra decided to combine our selections into an Applebee’s combo for $25, saving me money. lol. Great location! ? I shall return!
Great Service!! We had a party of 11 adults and 3 kids and the food came out all together and our waiter was on top of it all, never missed a beat or messed up an order. When every where else had a 2 hour wait for a table we waited 30 minutes for a seat and we were all able to sit together. Wonderful for large families!
Gary is an absolutely terrible manager and the whole restaurant suffers because of it. He refused to give an estimate wait time. Refused to get redbulls from the back for the table next to us. Refused to honor the discount that was offered to us after our food was dropped on the way out and had to be remade. Forced a waitress to tend bar after telling her she wouldn't get a bartender tipout. Oh, and walked around with his mask around his chin the whole time. Our poor waitress Janna had more tables then she could count, there was one food runner for the entire restaurant, and no busser on staff.. but Gary made sure he took time to watch the Packers play the 49ers on every TV in the place.
Just order some ribs through doordash with sauce on the side and fries. The ribs got here hard and old as a rock, with the sauce on them. There was no fries. Unbelievable!!!
Chantina C. made our visit special today! She greeted us and made sure all of our questions about the menu were answered. Not only did she provide great customer service but she set a wonderful example for my sons in terms of how to use their manners.
