I've visited this store only 4 times since they've opened, the 2 times prior to my latest visit was not good, the food was mediocre, the price was outrageous, and the service was poor, very unfriendly... while out with my daughter, we decided to give it another shot, and i was extremely surprised! the service was great! very helpful and friendly young man, the food was hot and delicious and the price wasn't bad at all. was very pleased with my experience... think i won't wait so long between visits next time.
Zaxby’s is one of my favorite fast food restaurants and usually the chain in Elizabeth city does a good job, but today they fell short on food quality.I ordered a 10 piece boneless wing and not only did the wings have very little sauce, but they were cold as well.I’ll be back. I just hope it improves.
what a rip off. this Zaxbys tried to charge friends $6.00 for two cups of tap water!!!
Food is good but you have to wait forever for it.
I love chicken wings, and had a rough day yesterday because I passed on a chance to have them. Today (still a bit bummed), I remembered the Zaxby's by the local Walmart and decided to go. I went at lunchtime and didn't mind the wait at all (it's lunchtime, everyone is going to be there and it will be busy. It happens.) The gentlemen who helped me, Markiel, was absolutely wonderful and great with his service. Please give him my regards! Those wings were absolutely delicious and turned my mood around instantly. I'll happily come back when I have the wing itch
The sweet tea was a little to sweet but other wise I was worth the stop.
Restaurant is nice. Servers are friendly. Texas toast is stale tasting though.
I absolutely love their fried Chicken Fingers and Cobb Zalad (aka salad).The Wimpy sauce for the fingers is the best for those who like buffalo sauce that does not burn your mouth.Their fries seem to be undercooked most of the time.For their Zalads, I wish there was an option on the app to have the hot chicken & bread be put on the side as it wilts the salad. You can only request this when ordering in person.You MUST ALWAYS check your order before you leave. I've made this mistake too many times.I ordered recently a 10 pc fingers and got home and had no sauce. I also ordered 3 cookies and they were not in the bag. I live 20 min away, so there's no going back the same day.I also wanted to use my rewards (5 pc Tenders & Birthday Cookies). Unfortunately, I toggled them off on the app and it wasn't credited on my online order. I asked the female manager to help correct it, but she gave me the wrong instructions. I contacted customer service and received an email saying that they would set it straight during my next visit.The restaurant is clean & COVID precautions are taken. Most the employees that I have encountered have been courteous.
Dont do it!! This is not your father's Zaxbys. They didn't have Salads, they didn't even have carrots or celery to compliment the wings! They didn't have salads they claim but I saw an employee who was on break eating a salad!! The seats and tables were nasty and to top it off you have to pay for blue cheese for your wings!! If I could give this joint a half of a star I would!! Buyer beware.
I love the food,but here lately there out of most things on menu,tonight it was no salad,no grilled chicken,no insane sauce,o sweet tea and some other things,so many I forgot,a month or 2 ago I got a fried chicken salad and got home to salad with no chicken,but I will say again I love zaxbys
