If you are looking for real deal in street tacos, the Happy Taco is your kind of place. The homemade corn tortillas were top notch. The owner is from south Texas and he has brought authentic ingredients and flavors to Elizabeth City. Service was excellent. Next time I'm in town I will make a stop here.
The food is hot and fresh, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the drinks are yummy!

Beautiful restaurant with a really good menu. Food and prices were very good, definitely would recommend the street taco plate. Our waitress Kristy was very nice and helpful with everything. Good choice for a quick bite or a long meal.
Food was really good. Ambience was great. Location great. I ordered take out and they were fast. Competitive pricing. But more than anything, the hostess was just so genuinely sweet. She lit up the room with her warmth.
I loved everything about Happy Taco, from the name to the decor to the menu and finally the food itself. I wish we had a Happy Taco in Nashville, I really do.
First time impression was not very good. The service beas slow, the food was bland to include the chips. Those chips were Unfortunately a precursor to the food taste.
Really nice place, food was on par, price was on par. I think they might be new, little clumsy with a few things like they're still working out stuff, waitresses could have been a little more attentive - not a lot of people there but she didn't really check on the table much. Table was set up right next to the bathroom entrance, I thought that was a poor choice of location. Overall good experience though, I would return to see how things progress.
