My pressed Colombian coffee was delicious, and although not noted (I asked), the batch I sampled was from a fair trade source. This is a neighborhood cafe, and parking is available on the street or behind the building next to the fence. An attractive porch also provides seating and connects visitors to other shops, a salon, and an event center, adding even more value to your visit.
Salaam's has coffee, tea, hot chocolate, muffins, bottles of soda, and other great products. It's run by a very nice and friendly man named Jibreel who makes conversation with anyone who walks in. Definitely recommend it to anybody looking for a chill place to get some coffee and have a good conversation
A really great place to have a coffee or tea. Family friendly. Fantastic owners. Meet friends and read up on black history or current events. Real cool spot!

Super cool owner, real small place, coffee was good. Good spot to stop in and grab a coffee, and a little friendly conversation.
I like coziness, and I can sit outside of the weather permits.
My boys and I had frappes. We loved them!
