From start to finish was terrible. First off was the silverware, mine was fine but my fiance opened hers and both forks were stuck together with old caked up sauces and old lettuce. the knife was dirty as well. almost like they took it off the plate and rolled it back up. So we waited forever to tell the server until I became inpatient and flagged down another server and showed her. She didn't say sorry or anything she literally took the silverware brought another back and never spoke a word. About 5 minutes later she came back and said, "was that one better?" and then finally our server came and asked is everything ok. Completely unaware of the dirty silverware. But it was our anniversary and I didnt want to make a big deal out of it so I didn't say anything. Next we ordered the salad bar. It was subpar, lettuce was browning, everything was warm even with the ice under the bowls. but we ruffled through it. Our entree was good. But before I could finish my stomach became so upset we had to leave. Now its been 24 hours and my stomach is just as bad from when we left. Something from the salad bar was bad and destroyed my stomach. Needless to say I give a 1 star review all the way around the board. and will never eat there again

The worst service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The salad bar was filthy, and had rotten lettuce and cucumbers. Majority of our food was cold. We paid $12 for the coconut shrimp appetizer and the portion size was ridiculous. All of the refills we had to go to the bar and asked after we asked our server several times. Our server was constantly sitting at a table with what was likely her boyfriend. They were out of several items but the server failed to mention until the rest of the food was already brought out. The drinks had food floating in it. We had to go to the gas station after we ate to get drinks. Don’t waste your time at this restaurant.

For the sign saying short staffed there was more staff than customers in there. It took forever to get our drinks. They were charged wrong. The hostess was just flat out rude to every customer that was in her path. A customer came to ask her a question and she asked if it was worth her getting up. The customer asked her what she said and she actually repeated it back to them. Then they asked her something and she said I can’t help you I am just a hostess. One employee was just sitting in front of a huge pile of dirty dishes and did nothing with them. While the bartender was bad with our service she seemed to be the only one working on to go orders while all the other employees were just sitting at the bar. I am assuming it was the manager because his shirt was a different color not once asked us about our visit but was off laughing and joking with the kitchen staff. When asked about the drink special and why we were charged $4 more than it was supposed to be he just said yea it was top shelf when it in fact wasn’t the top shelf tequila used. Coming from working in the service industry myself, short staffing is not the issue. Plain and simple they have no customer service.

Friendly, kind,, attentive.. Not fine dining, but appeared clean and food was good. Pricing is not appropriate for the experience. $60 including the tip for 2 adults and a 4 yr for lunch, to me is too much. My opinion. I mean, three drinks, a baked potato, salad bar,, chicken strips, cheese sticks and 1 steak with mashed tatters and broccoli... add the tip. Cha ching!I'm getting too old I guess.

Our first & only visit to the Ruby Tuesday in EC did not start off on a good note. There were approx 10 people waiting to be seated when we walked in. Five employees were standing at the end of the bar chatting and looking at their phones. Three of them looked up at us, but didn't greet us nor seat anyone who was waiting. After standing in the cold doorway for a few minutes, I stepped over to the bar and asked if someone could seat us. I was abruptly rebutted with, "The hostess is busy. She'll be with you in a few minutes". NOT a good way to treat customers. Once we were finally seated, everything went a bit smoother. We had to ask for refills on our beverages. Otherwise, the food was good and the waitress was pleasant. IMO, Ruby Tuesday has increased their prices too much for them to be a regular choice to eat out. If we are ever in Elizabeth City again, we will probably choose somewhere else to eat.

My family had the pleasure of having Stephanie as our waitress and she is the absolute BEST!!!! I wish I could take her with me everywhere I dined in. She went out of her way with amazing service and was on the ball waiting a lot of tables and still managed to give us great service. . I can’t say enough great things about her. Stephanie you truly are awesome. Thank you for your service! You rate more than 10 in my book.

I got the salmon and it was great, but my Dad got steak ordered well done and it came medium rare. He tried to eat it but just couldn't. We told our server when he brought the bill and he did offer to get him another steak, but it was too late by then.

Ordered online and given a pick up time of 1:22. Got there and let them know I was there at 1:27. Was told they were finishing it up and would be out soon. Called again at 1:56 and let it ring over 2 minutes with no answer. Called again at 2:00. Had no order for me. I told the lady someone had told me it was almost done at 1:27. She told me hold for manager. As I'm waiting on the phone, the order is brought out and SO COLD!!! I went in and manager eventually came out from back. By this time, it's 2:15. Lunch break has been over. He was reluctant to do a refund and said it would take 5 days. I said as long as I get it back because I don't want this cold food and have no more lunch break to even eat it! And no, they were not busy at all. Never again!!

Called this place starting 9p (about 10 times), no answer. Pulled up at 9:25p to get stopped at door by a waitress sweeping who claimed the resturant was closed. When I asked who was the manager in duty, she informed me his name was Will. Then I asked if the the time of 10p was the correct closing time, she stated yes then closed the "locked" door in my face. I stayed parked in the front and watched her allow a person of another ethnicity to enter without a second thought. Also, took a picture of another worker letting the same ethnicity but a different person to enter through the "to go" door. General Manager, Chris Jones, please have your staff TO BETTER!!!I will not spend my money where it is not welcomed!Peace and Blessings to you all!!!!
