Montero's came highly recommended from my wedding event coordinator and let me tell you, they have not only met every expectation but have exceeded it by far. We started our wedding planning three years ago and from the very first point of contact, Andy has been so quick and responsive to answer every detail, and he has been so flexible during the pandemic with all the changes and re-scheduling. He immediately made me feel at ease and never pressured.Everyone at the wedding commented at how perfectly medium rare the petit filet was cooked. I've been to a fair share of weddings and usually you do not expect good food at weddings. They are either bland, dry, or cold. But the food was delicious and warm. Everyone was talking about the crab cakes during cocktail hour. The steak was tender and could cut easily. My mom commented how the kitchen perfectly timed bringing food out to the whole table, not just couple people. It was a plated event, so it was even more difficult than buffet. The bartenders were also amazing. Another thing about weddings is the drinks are usually too light or too strong, and the bartenders made the drinks perfectly!!!To Andy and Montero's we love you and thank you for making our wedding unforgettable and the guests are also raving about your food.
Andy and the staff made us comfortable from the moment we entered. Our anniversary dinner was delicious, and we will definitely be back!
Exceptional! This place has an amazing environment with the kindest staff. The food is amazing with a vast amount of choice and variety. The food is fresh and the restaurant is spotless. The business is family-owned, and the owners Karen and Andy are some of the most amazing people. They run local fundraisers and do things like bring in breakfast for the high school teachers. Montero's is not just a restaurant, but a place to laugh and make memories with family and friends. You will never have to worry about how your food is going to taste. Your experience is truly up to you!
My husband and I came to Montero's after a lengthy road trip from Myrtle Beach. The food was excellent and fresh, you could taste the garden freshness in the green beans. The muffins they serve before the food were AMAZING, especially the lil carrot ones. The restaurant itself is beautiful, the grounds included. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and concerned about the happiness of their guests. We will probably stop in again before we head back to the beach!
Montero’s is one of those great places where carnivores and their plant-based brethren have almost equal access to wonderful food from a large menu. My wife and I have been vegan for a number of years and have traveled a bit. We were stunned by the selection of dishes we could eat. The quality and creativity were fantastic. The service was both timely and friendly. The atmosphere was upscale, but relaxed. We can’t wait to return and see what new creations are offered.
Last evening my wife and I took two visitors to your restaurant. We have had good experiences on the previous occasions we’ve eaten there. I decided to try something different than steaks so I ordered “Shrimp and Grits.” It was the worst meal I’ve had at your establishment. The other three people enjoyed their meal. Of course we’ll be back but not for Shrimp and Grits. It is just a bad meal!

Went to Montero’s to celebrate my sisters birthday! The staff and owners, Andy and Karin made it so special. It was busy, since it was a Saturday night, but they still made each table feel special. We started off with appetizers of calamari and roast beef tips. Both were amazing. Three of us had the Prime Rib and it was cooked perfect as ordered. It was tender and flavorful. It came with a fresh crisp salads and a perfectly baked potatoes. Crisp on outside fluffy on the inside. My husband had their tender and fall off the bones rack of ribs. He got the dry rub with the barbecue sauce on the side. Wow, the were delectable!! Of course one of the highlights of the meal is their basket of warm bread and out of this world muffins. Soooo good!!! Also my Pina Rita was one of the best drinks I’ve had. From start to finish it was a perfect dining experience and a wonderful birthday celebration
Food was great and we had a private room for our group of 7. Loved the atmosphere and the staff were very friendly.
