Nothing too fancy about this place. Downtown Elizabeth City with view of the river (depending on where you're seated). Menu surprisingly varied. Everything we tried was quite tasty. Ambience kinda so so.Desserts were unusual. What other restaurant offers a root beer float?Service quick and constant. Our waitress was delightful.Photo is of the river.
Outstanding! First time visit, great location with water views and easy to park. Food was fantastic! Two different platters with jumbo grilled shrimp, oysters/ shrimp wrapped in bacon, crabcakes, scallops, bacon wrapped scallops and lightly breaded/seasoned rockfish with 2 sides! Plenty of food, prepared properly and priced reasonably! Pearl was awesome, very attentive and pleasant!
I’ve been here before, and the service has really taken a hit. The server was good, but few things culminated that made me not want to come back. First off the hostess was busy on his phone at the bar when we arrived and we had to give him the evil eye while we awkwardly waited at the door to even be seated. I ordered a whiskey sour, and it was lacking simple syrup, making it a pretty terrible cocktail. We then waited 45 minutes for our main corse. I ordered the same meal as my girlfriend and they we both very different meals, one came with cheese and great presentation while the other did not come with cheese and terrible presentation, how did the expediter not notice that? The special was meh at best and really left me dissatisfied.
Disorganized. I see a lot of hungry people not getting acknowledged after being seated for 30 minutes. I see waitresses buzzing around but nothing is coming out. This lady is not managing anyone, just looking around. Crab cakes were bland too. Oh well, maybe it's the clientele. Been here for an hour and thirty minutes and still haven't gotten the check.
There were 10 of us we were all well taken care of no one had any complaints about their food actually just the opposite they were overly complimenting how well and flavorful all the food was service was great highly recommend
Food was delicious and service was very good. The jumbo shrimp are huge, the pork loin was great, and the blackened chicken and pasta was wonderful.
FABULOUSLY AMAZING!!!!! Can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Their specials are just that SPECIAL!!!!! From appetizers, entrees, desserts and drinks......you will enjoy every scrumptious mouthful!!!!! The staff is pleasant and the atmosphere is quiet. We greatly enjoyed our lunch at this lovely restaurant in beautiful Elizabeth City. Every employee we talked to - and particularly our server Haley - was very friendly and went out of their way to provide exceptional service. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the atmosphere was charming. I'd go out of my way to visit again in the future
Love this restaurant! Have been multiple times since moving to Elizabeth City last year.
