It was under new management so I don't have enough info to compare to the old management. I would highly recommend the club sandwich but NOT the burger that is overloaded with some sort of "cheese sauce" that overpowered the burger. Extra cheese "slices" would have been better for the TASTE of the burger........all you taste is the cheese sauce.I amended this review on 6/7/22 to change "cheese wiz" to "cheese sauce".
I feel like the trout could have been somewhat deboned and was pretty soggy. Wifes chef salad was like something you get off a high school salad bar and was missing some items. Kids cheeseburger plate was the normal 7 oz adult size with a ton of fries. Thats cool I guess, but I'm guessing the cooks just didnt feel like making a kids patty... Something I might think about if you want to order a regular burger.
Food was delicious, prices reasonable, and staff very friendly.
My first time at Circle II. My husband and I took advantage of a rare opportunity to go to breakfast this morning. I'd heard that this was a great place to eat and it definitely was. Great food, professional friendly staff and the place is spic and span clean. I will definitely be going back ?
I ordered a biskit and sausage, the biskit was rock hard the taters were over cooked. Server said tell manager she was at cadh register. I was very polite. Manger snarled the biskits were always like that, thats how people liked them. When i think of biskits..i picture soft and fluffy....The server was awesome, the food terrible and the manager very unprofessional. I was polite the whole time. We wont go back, but I will tell everyone how rude the manager Linda was. Didnt apologize ,very unprofessional.
When I came here, the staff was very friendly! The first time my mom and I walked in, we were treated very nicely and almost like family! The food always reminded us of home, the friend chicken was always very good, they have good butterbeans, corn, cornbread, etc etc! If you're looking for southern food, this is the place to go! It might not be as good as your grandma made it, but it will definitely taste a little like home! The atmosphere was always friendly and welcoming, and is a large reason (if not the main reason) why we came here as often as we did! (Note; i haven't been here since 2018, but would love to revisit is again when ever I am in the area!)
The older lady at the front does NOT acknowledge people, when they walk in. Stood there with my family, waiting, as this was the first time in the establishment, so we didn't know if we were to wait, or seat ourselves. SHE WAS SO RUDE! I said excuse me, do we just seat ourselves, and she still made no eye contact! She said yes, and turned her back! OBVIOUSLY TOO BUSY FOR HER CUSTOMERS. WE SHOULD HAVE TURNED AROUND AND WALKED OUT THEN, but we said we would give it a try. I watched her behave this way with another customer (a black gentleman), who was waiting for her to stop what she was trying to look busy doing. She did NOT acknowledge him, either! SHE ACTUALLY WALKED AWAY! Thia is NOT the kind of person you want your customers coming in contact with, if you want them to keep coming back (IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU'RE THE OWNER...RUDE IS RUDE!! We found ourselves a booth, and ordered our food. WE NEVER ATE! AFTER AN HOUR, WE WERE STILL WAITING ON FOOD! We heard yelling in the background, and eventually our waitress came out, as we were getting up to leave, and said staff were walking out, and she was trying to get someone to make our food. She and another waitress were the ONLY staff members that seem to have some kind of sense, with how to treat people. Take your chances, if you wish...maybe you will have a better experience than we did.
The food is fresh and always good. It's been in business for many years and is a local business that the same people visit in a regular basis. Prices are reasonable
A particular waitress is always so pleasant. The food is great & portions are nice. I never eat it all...2 go box almost every time
Best chicken in Elizabeth City, the food is always good,,,,owner is very friendly and aim to please his customers...servers are super friendly. Just a good ole country feel ❤❤
