We moved here in June 2020 and have been visiting this Bar & Restaurant ever since. Causal, relaxing, fun with friends & family, along with Great Food & Staff. There are two sides, the Restaurant & Bar. The entire restaurant & bar are clean, but a bit dated. There are generally multiple friendly wait staff to serve you on both sides. They have a good variety of food to choose from. They have the specials everyday that are posted inside & on the sign outside. I highly recommend their daily specials. On Monday Meatloaf, Tuesdays Country Fried Steak & Gravy with Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans, Wings on Wednesday and Ruben Sandwich on Thursday. There are more, but I can't remember them all. Their appetizers are great! Try their crab dip, buffalo wings, garlic knots, cheese curds. They have special appetizers not on the menu like bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers! Everything I have tried, I like including pizza, pasta, greek entrees, hot & cold subs, salads, the BEST Hamburgers, and the BEST Jambalaya pasta (add shrimp, you won't be disappointed). Their stromboli's are huge! The prices are good and meal portions are large. The bar staff are excellent! They learn your drink of choice and get it ready as you find a seat. They have high tabletop tables & chairs along with three booths in the back. There are multiple TV's on both sides. Parents often bring their children to the bar side and there is a sign posted that this is a family restaurant and cussing is not allowed. There is an outdoor smoking area with seats right outside the bar. Everyone that I have met (staff & guests) have been friendly. Take a walk around the property & see the fruit trees and flowers that Big Papa has planted. It's beautiful!
I really love the pizza at this place. Nice hearty crust. Reminds me a little of Chesapeake pizza in Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA). I typically get the Bid Daddys special without mushrooms. It reheats well in oven. I also tried lasagna and enjoyed that.
This place just isn't good. Been there for wing night, wings were cold. Pizza is okay at best, and definitely not worth the price they charge.... never had an issue with the staff by any means, but the food is just mediocre. Even the appetizers come out cold. This is probably the closest food to base, and none of us ever order or eat here.
Love this place, great food and very polite people. But, they charge extra when you use a credit card or debit card... I was not told about this before hand. I could have paid with cash. So i won't be going back there.
This is a great place to visit. Service was quick with good attention to detail. The food reminded me of the good mom and pop's pizza joints you find in Jersey. Good food, good service, we'll be back!
I have been here twice and had a great experience with a wonderful waitress, so I wanted my husband to experience the place. Today was just not the day, I guess. Pasta and sauces were lukewarm, breadsticks soft and cold, Cesar salad for $7.59 romaine not even crisp or dressed, worst presentation I've ever seen. Cashed out at $70 and feel extremely disappointed.
I ordered from here tonight a sub I specifically wrote in there what I wanted on my sub because they did not have where you could select what you wanted on your sub I called them first and they specifically said just right in what you want on your sub and we will do it the way you want. Well obviously they don't know how to read and they need to hire people that can read. Because my sub was nowhere near the way that I ordered it because I ordered it without tomatoes and lettuce because I am allergic to tomatoes, The Girl drops it off and what does it have on it tomatoes and lettuce everywhere I called back to the store spoke to the manager who said that I had to call Uber eat because that's who I placed the order with; so I will not ever be ordering from here again because they can't follow read simple instructions.
Arrived at 1:25 pm. In bar, yes busy. But not packed. Sat there for 20 minutes. Not acknowledge. Completely ignored. So we left at 1:45. Terrible , no service. So they lost out on two lunches and drinks. Can't make money if you can't serve customers.
We ordered our pizza for pick up. When we arrived, they had broccoli cheese soup that day. I ordered 2 cups if soup. Had to wait for the pizza and even longer for cold soup. Will try fine in next time. Expected a tip for take out orders.
The food is always consistent and have been there a couple times at different hours of the day great place friendly staff ?
