Food was hot and delicious. Great service, prices and music!
the coffee was cold we didn't get any water the hash brown was hard never again
Paid for items I didn't receive on my order...missing Onions, Tomatoes, & Jalapeño.. Please check order before you leave...Also, maybe they could clean up a bit....
Ok. I totally understand that there's a shortage of workers. But when it comes to food service! Come on Waffle House! I returned with my food to find...The cook has his hair hanging in the food. The other worker didn't even attempt to wash her hands. Tank top on and her skin was very flaky which is not cool working in food service. Open kitchen was disgusting! So will not order online food I will go myself personally.
Worse waffle house in Durham, tried to call in a order nobody answers the phone I even went inside and called and they let the phone ring. Equal opportunity employment at it's finest...Unprofessional staff and the place is dirty, grill hardly cleaned and the food was under cooked. Floors sticky as well as dirty utensils. I asked for plastic and the musty waitress acted as if I committed a crime. I understand fast food but this is ridiculous. But oh well businesses don't care but just lost a customer. Waffle House on Avondale in Durham is the best one dont waste your time nor money here
Outstanding. Was so great. Food tasted so good I didn't give it a chance to sit. Coffee not that good. I had extra hashbrown. My medium well steak ? very good. Just right.Thank you for excellent service and Food.
Was busy and short staffed. However Sara was working extra hard and keeping everything running smoothly. Great food and great service. Worth the wait time

My Son loves waffle house cheeseburgers.we ordered in person. I grabbed our order and the burgers were on toast. when I brought it back inside and asked why they were on toast and not buns....because they did not have any. Being that I dont want a burger on toast I then wanted to order something else. They should ask before just giving you anything. Employee Sarah was very rude when i told her i did not want the burger on toast. Sarah proceeded to argue increasing her tone while telling me it is a habit of hers and she forgets.. Sarah argued back and forth with me over her mess up. obviously unhappy I told Sarah I want to order a different sandwich (like a patty melt with onion!)something intended to be on toast. Sarah raised her voice and told me that IS what i had. what i had was a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomatoe, onion, pickle, ketchup mayo and mustard on toast. definitely not the same.Sarah was very rude ,completely unprofessional and disrespectful. when I said i wanted a refund on the one plate she walked off and someone else did my refund. I will not be spending money here ever again.
Ok get this, I go to get lunch and immediately the waitress tell me they are doing dine in only but only have 3 booths open with a look of surely you will leave. According to name tag her name is Sam.I told her that would not deter me, and she responded I just wanted to let you know. I responded again that won’t deter me. This waitress was taking personal calls while taking a customer order, while also having her mask under her chin and rubbing her face and lips while taking her personal call, with no gloves on I might add. There are three employees here but they claim they can only open three booths. There were four employees but the Non Covid compliant employee (Sam) sent the other waitress to pick someone up, not sure if it was a friend or family member, this is what I heard while waitress was on her two personal calls. Unbelievable, after hearing them tell countless customers that there are no take out order, I just saw a person come in and pick up take out order. I’m not sure if this was a friend or family member of one of the employees. Someone from Corporate really needs to find out what’s going on with this location. I really don’t want to order but because waitress was trying so hard to get me to go, I’m staying.
