Delicious! One of the best steaks in Durham and the escargots were so yummy. Staff were attentive and the ambience was lovely. Will be back for sure.

Great experience! We got a charcuterie appetizer plate that was excellent, especially the chicken liver pâté, Frisée salad to share and then the strip steak (perfectly cooked and tender) and the roasted half chicken. The chicken breast was slightly on the dry side but that was the only thing we could nitpick about. We got an excellent wine recommendation as well. Yes, we would go back.

Husband and I had a wonderful meal on the garden patio this evening. It was a special anniversary celebration that was made even more special by the excellent service by Brian (and other staff) as well as the delicious food. They accommodated a shellfish allergy very well. We have visited France twice and if I closed my eyes while tasting the food I could imagine that we were back there. The food is prepared using simple fresh ingredients the way they do in France. The simply prepared tapenade along with french bread was amazing. We started with oysters and the duck confit salad. The main dishes we had were trout almondine and the pork chop with braised red cabbage. The pork chop was perfectly cooked and tender. Dessert was a 3 cheese plate and a lovely decadent chocolate mousse they brought because the trout was a bit overcooked. Our wines were by the glass (Syrah and Sancerre), from France, and just perfect with the food. So happy that we live so close to this local gem! We already have reservations for our next visit.

Textbook French bistro cooking. The very soul of conviviality. Have the moules frites and a glass of Sauternes for dessert. Cheaper to Han a flight to Paris and just a delightful.
