Grandma pie is just as good as any place on Long Island…dare I say even better! Calamari was pretty fresh too.
Delicious! Had the eggplant parmigiana and the meatball appetizer, both were incredible. The marinara sauce is very good and not bland like many other places. Monday is half priced wine too!
Well first off the bread they just bring you for the table is phenomenal! Husband ordered a beer and I got a strawberry basil smash cocktail which is delicious though admittedly very sweet! I like sweet things but if you don't it might not be for you.We ordered the fresh fried mozzarella and all I can say is wow it's so good! As our main we got the classic margarita and it was excellent "crispy crunchy really fresh basil and that sauce everything is from scratch and it shows"-my husband on first slice!Damien our server was attentive and kind.This is a hidden gem for sure!
Fresh made pasta. Fresh made sauces. Best Pasta Carbonara I have found in the triangle. I have eaten here a couple of times now and everything I have had has been terrific. Even if you don't live in the are it's worth the drive to get here.
This was beyond amazing. The food was the best Italian cuisine I have had in a very long time. Reminded me of my grandmas home cooking which says a lot being from an Italian heritage. Our server Alexis I believe was her name was very attentive to our tables and surrounding tables. As well as the other staff so polite and friendly. I highly recommend this place. We will be back and often!!!!
My husband and I really enjoyed both our food, and the experience here! The bartender made us delicious martinis! I had asked for blue cheese stuffed olives, which he didn’t have, but the front of house manager overheard me and made some in the kitchen! Talk about above and beyond service! The owner was sitting at the bar with us, and gave us some great suggestions on what to order. We got the bolognese with fresh pappardelle and the grandma margarita pizza. Both were delicious, but that bolognese was transcendental. We are so excited to have this restaurant in the neighborhood!
It was our first time here. Willie, our server, was excellent. The fried mozzarella was delicious! The lasagna and chicken parmesan were fantastic! Great addition to South Durham! We will definitely be back!
The food is impeccable! I have been impressed every time we order. The pizza, the pasta, and the sandwiches! Their marinara is on point. Please try them out, they are so good!
Outstanding pizza and fresh salads. Husband and I moved from PA 2 years ago and we finally found our go-to Italian place. All others we’ve tried in the Raleigh-Durham area don’t even come close.
