This was a first time visit and the food was outstanding. They have a tap room separate from the dining area so it is kid friendly. There is also plenty of outside seating.
Thankful for the other good reviews since I was traveling through and looking for food. Decided to stop by and glad I did. Burgers are amazing. I had the mac and cheese burger which to my surprise had fried mac and cheese. Delicious. Wife had the western burger and it was juicy and great too. Friendly staff even when it was very busy. Will definitely stop by again next time we are up that way. I wanna try the lamb burger they have next.
My visit here was a terrific experience - the staff was super friendly, quick, and the food portions were huge (all except the shrimp basket) but everything my family ordered came out delicious - burgers, kids quesadilla meals, chicken sandwich, coconut fried chicken, and tenders! Their fried pickles basket was a very large portion as well and tasted great. We will definitely be back!!!
The burgers are delicious but you have to wait on yourself. They bring you the food to your table but you have to get your own condiments, drinks and utensils plus you have to clean up when you are done but it seems to keep the prices really reasonable for the RTP area. I would highly recommend the Tarheel burger for a bit of pulled pork, homemade pimento cheese and eastern NC slaw for a awesome combination.
The burger tasted awesome! The beauty was that the have a bar area where you can have a table service but if you just want to eat a burger and drink a beer you can choose to sit down at their quote on quote self-service area and the pay less tips. It's a great way to have more customers, including those who are traveling alone or dining alone.
Great burgers and fresh cut fries. Very busy place and long line. Only two order takers (order at counter). Quality of food was excellent except the onion strings were not hot on my burger.
Not only was there a great selection of beers here but the food was absolutely ON POINT. Hands down best burger I've had from a restaurant. Gotta recommend the Tar Heel Burger that I had, it was so good. The picture I have of the fried pickles is after we ate half of it already, the order is HUGE. If you like spicy ask for some of the habanero sauce. All in all, what a gem. Very tasty place and good beers, good service.
Decent burger with a few tasty options. They have a vegetarian burger, if your group includes anyone who needs something like that. Staff was friendly and efficient. 1 order of fries is enough for 2-3 people, so don't order more unless you're very hungry or hate sharing.Eat-in is fine. Tables seemed a little close together. They do have a bar, though we stuck with fountain drinks.Price was $12-15 per person when we went. So not the cheapest option, but we thought it was worth it.My only real critique is Durham has some high end burger options that feel less big chain or 'corporatized'. But if you want a burger around southpoint you can def do worse.
A great selection of burgers and beers! I love their Turkey burger, which comes served on Naan, with a creamy yogurt sauce and julienned onions. This place is also clearly also one of the best places to grab food near the Streets of Southpoint/Southpoint mall.
Always a great burger. I love they toast the bun and have fresh options. You can choose a speacialty burger or build your own (chicken, beef, veggie/black bean or ground Turkey are options).
