I’ve had their chicken and now their ribs, neither disappoints! Mmm so good! I’ve read this place has been a staple in durham and I hope it continues to have success for years to come. Their food is delicious and a 5/5. I don’t think anyone comes for the lemonade but it could use less sugar.

It was busy but worth it. My coworkers and I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and service. It felt like family dinner. Thank you Chicken Hut Family.

My first time there and the food was amazing! They just got a repeat customer?

Visited as soon as it openedand stood for 30 mins waiting on fried chicken. Man said chicken is cooked to order even though I could see two pans of chicken already done. Chicken tasted and looked like it was left over from the day before and was thrown back in the grease to reheat. Hushpuppies tasted like they were cooked in fish grease. Collards have no taste and macaroni and cheese taste like KFC. For $13.96 it was very over priced.

The best fried chicken ever. Greens and sweet potato sides were awesome.

The most amazing soul food! ?

The chicken was so crispy! Bring cash because the credit card machine often doesn’t work. Takes about 10 minutes for them to fry your chicken once you order

The food was hot and delicious and the customer service was excellent and the place was very clean and they give you plenty of food for your money. I would refer all my friends and family to eat there. I give them a 10++.

Best soul food in the area. A friendly, informative staff and great selection. Fried chicken was off the chain, as was the macaroni and cheese. Can't wait to return.

Every time I have to bring my son to Duke Hospital for is new kidney check up, this delicious place is a must stop. All of their food is so dang delicious. And the service is always very nice. If I have to come 4hrs to Durham I’m getting a good meal, and that chicken is like chicken crack it’s sooooo good. What I like is it is fresh out of the grease. Yum yum. The oxtails, pig feet OMG I want this place in Charleston. We had a place like this in Charleston by the water called Mary Lou’s and after she passed it was gone. Y’all would kill it in Chas a game changer. They have such great customer service and that is what keeps me coming also.
