So I probably won’t be visiting again, I ordered Egusi soup (chicken) and fufu. This was my first time trying and I’m hoping it won’t be my last. The food wasn’t terrible but my chicken was old, and the seasonings were so off (I think it was me). I suggest going to an actual business that has Sanitation numbers for you to see. No more home catering services for me.
When I got home and opened up the food, I literally could not stop eating. It was some of the best fufu and Egusi soup I have ever had. The lady was so nice and accommodating. The food was excellent and the portion of food that I received was more than fair. I have eaten a lot of Egusi in my lifetime and this is by far one of the best I have ever had. I will definitely be back. This definitely surpassed my expectations. Amazing!
LISTEN!!!!! OMG, the best Nigerian food and it was absolutely amazing!! I couldn't leave the parking lot without tasting everything first. The stews smelled so good and I could not resist! Everything was delicious!! Amazing African cuisines! Not only does this business do large events, they also do daily individual size orders. Service was prompt and easy to pick up. The owner greeted me and was pleasant and lovely. *I will be going back in this weekend!!
The best food love every bit of it Super flavorful great customer service the owner is super sweet and very nice and loving. The food is as great as the owner I will be back I live a 1hr away it’s worth the drive every time 1-10 I give it a 100% ???
I'm a little late leaving my review but I enjoyed my dish. I would have liked a little more meat but overall for my first time trying I enjoyed ?
The owner is a beautiful woman with a heart of gold. She came to NCCU with a few of her dishes. It was so delicious. We had the Jollof Rice, plantains, and chicken. I highly recommend this caterer. Not only will you get good food, but good service. She puts a lot of love into her cooking and you can taste it.
Ordered Egusi Soup w/ fufu + 2 sides /Jollof RiceThe Egusi was not what was expected, texture and flavor wise. The beef (side) was very tough. Yet we enjoyed the chicken (side) plantains and rice. Customer service was great! For this I gave an extra ⭐️
I would give it a 5/10 because one- it's not a restaurant, it's an apartment hidden in the cut. Two- the food tastes like the smell of the apartment. Three- the servings does not match the price.
Amazing and Delicious African food! The Jollof rice is literally award-winning, which is what made me order for myself. I also had some of the rich Egusi and Ayamase (designer stew). Mom and Son duo delivering the best of the best Suya (Grilled beef, with rich spices), Asun (roasted goat over open fire with peppers and spices), Shawarma (I got the beef, but they have other options like chicken, etc).. Overall BEST African, Nigerian food i've ever had in NC and the US.
First time coming and I loved the food. I recommend it to whoever that loves African food. Everything was great, hot, and ready to eat. Will be returning my love. ?
