Authentic Puerto Rican food that took me back to my mami’s cooking! I miss her and I’ll be coming back here to try all the other delicious-looking dishes. My empanadas (pastelillos) were the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant, i.e. they tasted homemade. I had a flavorful beef and maduros one and another flavorful abuela’s chicken one. You getting the idea that PR food has lots of flavor?!! My husband had a Cuban sandwich which he said was the best he’s had since Orlando 10 years ago. It was quick too - only waited 7-8 mins. Great amount of food and great ambiance. Loved the cute inside, awesome mural. and music!

Nice place for Empanadas and most days they run specials (i.e. $1 off) on a sub-selection of them. Dog friendly, nice vibe. 13/10
Some menu items have been a lot better than others. Perhaps it would be best so see a specialization in some dishes and less menu items overall. Happy to have some Latin cuisine in Durham. Take out service is consistently fast and staff has been friendly

The food is great. Tastes great and not too pricey. They lose a star tho because of how slow the kitchen was. The food took over a hour
Chicken was dry and no seasoning rice was over cooked and no seasoning and no one asked why didnt I eat the food. The picture is the way i left it on the table from not eating it not worried about a refund this is not any puerto rican food I grew up with very disappointed, drove to durham for blah food, no bueno.
Nice atmosphere and music! "Q" was AMAZING! Friendly and happy to help make suggestions. The food is good but not as much flavor as I'm accustomed to for authentic Puerto Rican cuisine. The mofongo was beautiful but not much flavor. Empanadas were OUTSTANDING! Will return to try something different.
