This was definitely some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had. The employees that assisted me were so helpful and helped me narrow my options. We will be back
I highly recommend you try the ice cream and toppings at this location! I enjoyed every bite of my selection- vanilla topped with peanut butter drizzle and M&Ms! ? Such a large serving for an affordable price! I will be back for more! ?
Was looking for a place open later to get ice cream downtown. We wound up here, and we were definitely happy we did. Ice cream was really good, and there are so many options for dips and toppings. Met the owner who was super nice. Will definitely be back!
Simon says dip!!! Came here on a weekday night. No long line, but still waited for service. This is my first time eating a dipping ice-cream. I love the idea and flavors they offer. Tiramisu was really good but pistachio favor was okay. I think pistachio ice cream might taste better than the dipping ice cream. Next time I gotta try the espresso and coffee flavor!!! I love the service here, waitresses were friendly and very helpful! By the way they got swings indoor, I saw kids were on it. Low key what's better than eating an ice cream in downtown durham on a summer evening!
Oh my! This place is awesome! A big dip of vanilla with syrup of your choice in the core and then topped with your choice of shell and toppings. Not inexpensive but definitely worth trying!
Went here for the first time with my fiance the other night. We were super excited and loved all of the options, but weren't too thrilled with what we ended up getting.I love vanilla custard so I was surprised that their vanilla custard lacked flavor. Once you eat all of the shell/dip & toppings there isn't a lot of flavor left to enjoy.It is totally worth checking out because the place is super fun and the options are endless. We do plan to go back again!
Fun and simple idea to make soft serve even more delicious. They have about 4 core choices for the center of your ice cream. Then tons on chocolate based dips to choose from and toppings for the end.If you're looking for something simpler, they'll make any dip into a hot chocolate or pick up a stuffed cookie.It's an excellent dessert place to walk to after dinner for multiple choices and a lovely atmosphere filled with colorful posters.
I love this place! The staff is friendly and the ice cream (and dips) are a perfectly soft texture and taste. I got the cookie butter coating last time I went and it sent me to the moon! They offer a good variety of dips and toppings sure to please anyone. They also have a decently generous rewards program. It’s a great spot if you want a unique dessert!
Went back and forth between three stars and four but ended up with four because it really is what you make of it. They offer many different dip options and toppings to choose from alongside your traditional vanilla ice cream. I had read a few reviews that had said they were disappointed in how the ice cream itself tasted but I actually found it to be very creamy and delicious. I had the brownie batter dip with cookie dough pieces. I wish I had gone with a different dip; it tasted like your typical chocolate dip, but maybe just a tad bit richer. It's not as unique of a flavor as I would have liked. The cookie dough bites were fine, but I'd probably pick a different topping that may not taste as artificial as they did.
This place is a really fun concept and I’m glad there are more places in downtown Durham to get ice cream. I love soft serve ice cream so this is perfect. The issue is that the dipped ice cream is too messy to eat in a cone, but the dipped and topped concert doesn’t really work as well in a cup. Plus, I love the idea of different flavors of dips, but in reality the dips kind of look and taste like wax. I think next time I go, I will just get soft serve with a topping and no dip. Still a fun place to check out. The employees are also very patient with the many customers who seem very confused about what to do.
