Press is positioned below the infamous Lucky Strike water tower in the Tobacco district. I arrived alone during brunch hours on a Sunday and was able to find two available seats at the bar. I took one and ordered their seasonal marshmallow latte. The space was packed out the doors and into the patios when I arrived, plenty of people working the space, you can tell it’s very much a local favorite. The latte was unlike any that I’ve had before, both in visual appearance, texture and taste. That was fun.Oats are a great way to see how a space makes something so simple their own; I ordered the pear and strawberry bowl with two eggs on the side, over-medium.What felt like a small eternity sipping on my latte waiting for the oats, scraping the marshmallow foam out of the saucer, I was finally presented with breakfast. Beneath the roaring room of chatter and clanking dishwater, I beheld my fare and muttered, “oh my god.”Best oats I’ve had in a long time. The marinated pears mixed into the cream. The oats were cooked to perfection, similar texture to the soft crunch of brown rice. Presentation, taste, texture. The eggs I ordered on the side were seasoned perfectly as well.I would return here with a friend and explore the potato waffles and crepes.

Great place for breakfast (all day) and lunch or an early dinner (most weekdays it closes at 7). There’s a brunch on weekends. Their specialty are the Crêpes with a wide variety of fillings, savory and sweet, all delicious There’s also options of salads and sandwiches. Coffee and cocktails are awesome. Press is a must for those who want great food, nice atmosphere, impeccable friendly service at a reasonable price.

The service here was absolutely exceptional. I've not had an absolutely kind and engage server, and our table of 6 never wanted for a thing. Also, the food portions were extremely generous and the mimosa pitchers are a perfect pairing for a brunch crowd. From downtown walkability, to the atmosphere, I was impressed from entry to exit. Bravo!

I was excited to go to this place for a long time because of the awesome photos and great reviews. The experience I ended up having did not meet expectations at all.Overall, the food tasted pretty good, which is why I’m giving 2 stars instead of one.The bad:- We asked how long take out would take and we were told not too long. That answer informed our decision to get take out vs dine in. We had our kid with us. In the end, we waited just as long for our take out as we would have for a table.- The avocados we were served across our two savory dishes were browning significantly or were totally not ripe with the skin not fully removed (see photo)- The classic crepe with strawberries and bananas had significantly less of the fruit (ignoring the whipped cream since order was to go) than I was led to believe from the other photos on other google reviews, where is the consistency…(see my photo and then photos on other reviews)- The coffee was mediocre at best. Both the cappuccino and mocha we got you could barely taste the flavor of the coffee. Probably too much milk. All of these problems shouldn’t exist, especially when you’re paying a price premium. 4 crepes and 3 beverages for $72.Note: All photos were taken within 5 minutes of getting the food. We ate on site at the picnic tables.

Loved their savory crepes! I got the B’Crepe and my friends got the Farmers Crepe (?) and another savory crepe, but they were all delicious. I’d love to try their special coffee or teas next time. It is a really lovely ambience, however we did go on a Saturday morning and it was incredibly crowded. This was expected but I wish we were able to stay longer! They didn’t allow us to stay and do work because of how busy it was, which is okay. The service was good despite it being so busy! Will definitely come back on a less busy day to try more of their menu.

incredible crepes! I've never had a larger, more delish crepe. Highly recommend the stuffed french toast!

Nice place to brunch. Very busy so service is a tad slow. Get there early! Hash brown waffles were great but the crepes are to die for!

Been here multiple times and it has never disappointed me.The South by Southwest crepe is my ultimate fave. I love how all the ingredients blend together. The creaminess with a hint of spice. If you plan to have brunch arrive a little early or it might be lunch by the time you get seated. This place gets packed.

Got here at 1:00 on Sunday and there was an hour wait. It was incredibly busy.I’ve been wanting to try this place ever since I got back from France. Finally went this morning and was underwhelmed. My table ordered the Carolina comfort, stuffed French toast, avocado toast, and rosemary tots, plus two drinks. The tab came out to over $80 which I think is ridiculous for what we got.The French toast was cold and sickeningly sweet. The Carolina comfort was decent but nothing extraordinary. These crepes are very Americanized and definitely don’t compare to authentic French crepes.Overall it was underwhelming for the exorbitant price. I won’t bother returning.

Delicious crepes whether savory or sweet. Got the South by Southwest and the french toast crepes. Both of my crepes were delicious and packed. The restaurant is pretty busy so order about 30 to 45 minutes ahead for takeout, drinks are a bit faster than crepes but just know the wait is worth it. Friendly staff too.
