A friend and I stopped in for a 14-inch pie, and we were thrilled with the ricotta base with granny smith apples, French brie, and white truffle oil. It was absolutely delicious! The staff were so friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The only area the restaurant is lacking is the dining room is a tad dated and shabby, but very clean. Will definitely be ordering takeout from here in the future!

Good service despite being short handed. decent pizza with good selection of toppings. Interesting menu for sandwiches and wings. I will be back.
I'm a BIG FAN of this spot! The food is delicious. I love the muscles and used to eat them all the time when I worked at Pop's Trattoria downtown before it closed. So glad this spot is open and serving tasty food!
The mussels are amazing and the chickrn parm sandwich was heavenly
I ordered The Granny's Salty Calzone. Before I ordered, I love the idea that one of the calzones had proscuitto, kalamata olives, and egg. I thought that this would be interesting to taste. However, it was lacking flavor for me. I was expecting more of a pinch and I didn't get that. Their marinara is also not that good. Based on this order, I wouldn't want to come back. However, I'm willing to give it another shot if I'm trying something else.
Delicious!! Being able to build your own pasta is a real treat ?You get to choose your noodles your sauce and everything else. Like i literally put goat cheese on my spaghetti. AmazingAND they sell beer ?Yum just ?
SHEEEEEEEEEEEEEESHHH!! ??? That Calzone was BUSSSSIN NO KAPPA ??, had me actin up with that fluffy but somehow KWISPY crust, those steammmmy hot insides, phenomenal ingredients, and even better service. My man at the front counter was lookin out for me when he said the 14 incher might be a lil too big for me. And I’ll be honest I was a little offended, but he was right, that 10” was the PERFECT size. Pop’s is S TIER and anyone who rated lower than 5 stars must have been having a bad day. I am eternally grateful for this experience, thank you ?? ???
I want to create 400 gmail addresses and give Pop's Backdoor a 5 Star review from each one, because dangit, they deserve it. We cried when Pop's closed down their Brightleaf Square restaurant (best spicy rigattoni ever) , and changed to happy tears when their pizza bistro opened right down the road from us. Their quality of food and service hasn't changed in years, and that quality is TOPS.
The wife and I where in from East Tennessee for Thanksgiving to see some family. So my wife was craving pizza on a Friday night. We stopped in about 6:15. I got a 10’ Pops pepperoni and she got a margherita. We each got a beer and sat down. The pizza came out nice and hot in about 15 minutes. It was outstanding! Wish we lived in the area to get this more often. Definitely recommend this place for a cold beer and some hot pizza. A+
