The food was really good. We ordered a 2 custom half pizzas and a chicken parm sub. The half pizzas were huge, next time definitely going to get a single slice.**They kicked in a free brownie because we arrived before the order was ready and they probably wanted to avoid a vengeful 1 star review. It was also good, more like cake instead of fudge (for those who care)…I almost want to drive back and pay for it bc they didn’t have to do that.
Pizza and apps are good.. but these chicken wings are the best in Durham! This was my dinner spot every Wednesday when I lived in downtown. I was in town this weekend and grabbed an order of baked wings and habanero BBQ; both with double ranch dressing.
The food was absolutely delicious. Since we didn't want to order 2 pizzas we ordered half pepperoni & half cheesy chorizo. I'll definitely visit this restaurant again.
Love Pie Pushers-such unique toppings and vegetable based sides. The house salad with the creamy balsamic is a great option for making a larger meal. We also really like the Brussel sprouts-delicious! My go to pie is the Queen Anne with goat cheese and my husband likes the Jerry (sausage and pepperoni) and add green olives. I would suggest ordering half or whole pizzas. Sometimes ordering singles means a burnt/harder crust. The cheese slice my toddler got was over done-but he preferred our crust and toppings from our pizza. Customer service is great in house and easy to pick up if we eat out!
Good food. Good people. Lgbt friendly. Good alcohol selection.Note: I don't want to take stars from the business, but I don't think it's an accessible business. You have to go up stairs to get in. I saw no signs of an elevator or other way a person with a wheelchair could access the business.
I love me some pie pushers! the pizza is always tasty but the real winner is the brussel sprouts. I don’t know how they do it but they’re soooooo delicious. if you’re a fan of brussels you def gotta give them a try. and don’t sleep on their baked wings either.
We've been there 3 times in the past couple months, each time it seemed to get worse? But we kept trying because it was a beloved spot. This is painful to admit because it was one of my favorite places and I have a lot of fond memories there.
These guys are NOT open. Door is locked. What a scam. I drove from RTP to downtown, paid for parking, and walked while it was raining lightly to try the place. Do NOT waste your time.
I wanted to try the wings but not after my family member was mistreated as an employee. Had her cleaning base boards and she was a server. Smh. Also I read reviews about bad service to other African Americans. I will gladly pass. Which from what I hear is what they want. They don't want us in there. Sad.
Drove here, paid for parking, found the door locked. Apparently they're not actually open, according the unsympathetic person that eventually came downstairs. Every other restaurant is open now, but apparently that's too scary for Pie Pushers. Thanks for wasting my time and acting like I'm weird for wanting to eat at your restaurant that's listed as open
