Overall the night was just ok. Server was very quiet and we had trouble hearing him. Never really offered any suggestions on what to get. The whole meal seemed very rushed, never had a chance to order apps or a salad. We asked about the show menu special and never heard another thing about it. I had the roasted stuffed chicken that was swimming in balsamic. That it ruined the entire flavor of the goat cheese. Was a disappointment.

Had our wedding anniversary dinner yesterday. The restaurant decorated our table with some festive confetti and fresh flowers. Our wait was very attentive and helpful. My wife ordered grilled salmon and I had baked red snapper. The salmon was good, but the red snapper was the highlight. It was a whole fish (yes even the head) that was grilled and then baked. The wait deboned the fish at our table, and did a great job of getting 99% of the bones. Perfect. Highly recommended!!

This is an excellent Cafe. One of the best places to eat in the Chapel Hill-Durham area. Perhaps George's best! If you haven't been there you are in for a treat. Great wine list and bar.
