I've eaten there many times over the years. Always an interesting menu and normally good service. Got an unacceptable brisket and the manager, Ivan was terrible. Took the food and never offered an alternative. Hopefully he won't be there long as a manager.
I have been in Durham, NC for three weeks for business reasons. I have been having lunch literally every day here. Food is healthy and good, staff is polite and quick in serving. Best restaurant in Durham
Great lunch menu. The very best shrimp and grits I've ever tasted! ❤️ Also, very affordable and great service!
Great lunch spot with healthy options. The salads are really big, they come in two sizes and you can choose what protein you want to add.
Definitely not $17 worth of salmon. I love the food, but the portions for take out have gotten progressively smaller. Will definitely not be eating here for lunch or recommending to my colleagues in town anymore.
My family and I gathered here last night for my birthday and I must say I was sorely disappointed. The menu selection was very short and not much to choose from. The photos on the website were quite deceiving. I ordered the shrimp and grits and they were awful. My daughter liked the crab cakes.Service could have been better. I was so looking forward to giving my family an enjoyable experience at a new restaurant this year but needless to say we won't be returning.
Good place for fast business launch
Nice restaurant. Good atmosphere and good service. I had brisket and it was excellent. My wife had shrimp and enjoyed it. I believe they are a coke establishment. Convenient location. I had a coffee and it was pretty good.
My wife and I booked one of the private party rooms at Page Road Grill (PRG) in order to have part of my family celebrate a major birthday, one of the ones that ends in “0”. The room held 10 people, which was exactly the number we needed. Our server was a young man named Tyler. The whole time we were there, he hustled. He was cheerful and had a super, super attitude. We had brought our own cake (we cleared that ahead of time), and Tyler brought out plates, forks, and a serving utensil for us to use. At the end of the evening, we found out the whole place was being served by Tyler and one other server! I don’t about the rest of y’all, but if I’d been one of those two servers, I would not have had the best attitude, and I would not have been almost running to take care of guests. Whatever PRG is paying Tyler, it’s not enough. He is a standout. Let’s talk food. We ordered a variety of dishes - appetizers, steak, salmon, seafood salad, shrimp and grits. Everything was very good. Not great, but better than average. Four of my grandchildren were with us, and they had various kids’ menu items. And fries. And actual Coca Cola, caffeine and all! The atmosphere in PRG is really nice. I’ve noticed that some restaurants are just inherently noisy, as if noise was built in when the bricks were laid. PRG, on the other hand, is quiet. You can hear a very low murmur of conversation from nearby tables, but it’s easy to hold a conversation. (I’m writing here from a previous experience with just my wife at PRG.) When we have out of town guests, and we’re looking for a “nice place for dinner,” PRG will be one of the places we consider.
Super pleased (and surprised), first time visiting- great lunch!! Nice menu assortment!
