Its funny that nowadays if you dine in, you HAVE to pay 20% tip. It is mandatory for this restaurant. I didn't like the idea at all. They will automatically charge you with 20% tip without your knowledge. While we are leaving the restaurant, we realized that the notice was attached to the door. But still feel like this method is so predatory. I could have given them better tip. Tip should depend on service not mandatory TAX.
We love supporting local eateries and NaanStop is delicious. The to go lunches are a great portion and cost effective. When the lunch buffet is open, that’s a great opportunity to try new dishes, and of course our go to favorites. Our family, including 1.5 yr old toddler, enjoy the Palak paneer, shahi korma, papadum, and butter chicken.
A decent Indian restaurant in Durham,NC.Easy to access, enough car parking right in front of the restaurant. We visited at lunchtime, restaurant was not too busy that time, waiter was attentive, order delivered in less than 10 minutes.Overall food quality was 6.5/10.nothing too exciting about this place.Accepts card and contaless payments.Restaurant and toilet's were clean. They have a wheel chair accessable toilet.Mango lassi is recommended.
We are a fan of NaanStop and order from here regularly for takeout. They have a great selection and always serve big portions with a ton of extra rice. The spice levels are all spot on and the best part is they are super mindful of allergies; if you have a peanut allergy this is a safe place to eat. I love their chai tea too. Highly recommend trying this place out!

Dinner was delicious all around. I’m used to Pershawari naan, so your Kashmiri naan was a fun (and extremely tasty) change. And I must say, your coconut soup is one of the most delicious things I’ve ever in my 65 years put in my mouth. I think I could live on it! Thank you for a wonderful dinner. We will be back.
We love Naanstop in Durham! It's a small unassuming hole in the wall, but the food will not disappoint for sure! This place is run by a passionate family. The flavors are authentic and true to the original classics! And unlike most of the places where the buffet is pathetic this buffets actually refreshingly tasty and great value! Even my kids love to obliterate the buffet! ?
The best Indian food I've had in the Triangle. Curries are rich and tasty. Samosas are fresh and hot. They will make it legit spicy if you ask them to. Really blows away all the other Indian restaurants in the area, which is insane considering how many there are now. They seem to do a ton of takeout/delivery business but the inside is always pretty quiet when I've been. Maybe bc of the location which is a little hidden.
Disgusting!!!Bought 2 orders of dessert to go since we were staying at hotel across the street. Got to the room and noticed one of the dessert was inedible as it was frozen solid, which should be served like soft ice cream. The second dessert, after eating one tiny little piece I saw hair in it. Took the garbage back and they refunded me back only for one dessert, said I ate some of the second dessert and no refund. I can’t believe I tipped these rude people.
We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Goat Curry and Garlic Naans for takeout. Everything was really delicious. They make authentic Punjabi / North Indian food. Definitely worth a try!! Satish took our order and made sure it was ready on time.
