This has been one of the best-kept secrets in Durham until recently. World-class chocolates and other treats. Some of them are so artistic, you don't want to eat them. But you should. Because they're delicious. All of them.
10/10 would recommend over and over again!!! Sweet quaint little cafe! Coffee was delicious, the crème brûlée cake had the perfect balance of richness but not overly sweet, and the Bon Bons were to die for. Shop Local and visit Miel!
The shop is super cute! The owner is friendly and greeted up right away. They have SO MANY FLAVORS OF EVERYTHING- ice cream, macrons, chocolates, coffee and so much more! They are located right downtown of Durham ?
These macarons are better than Ladurée. Seriously.No picture because we ate them all.
We order two cakes weeks in advanced. Received a text that order was received and all was well. Called to arrange pickup two days in advance and was told no order was received. When we showed her the text she said sorry but I can’t do your order. The owner then suggested maybe she was too expensive for us. Insulting! Then she said she could do a sheet cake with no decorations for $300. Outrageous! Bad business. Had used her in tge past but never again.

We ordered a sculpted cake for my husband's 50th birthday party. It was the HIT of the party. So beautiful, exactly what we asked for. The flavor of the cake was divine. We had no leftover cake because so many people had multiple pieces of cake!
We've tried macarons, bread, pies, and coffee several times at Miel Bon Bons. All the macarons flavors are delicious! and most of the things we've tried are delicious. Some items are a little bit pricey but they are high quality and the service is awesome! The owner loves what she does and is always super friendly!
Went looking for desserts and found this bakery. The owner was amazing and the dessert even better. They have chocolates, cakes, pies, and pastries. The also have Vegan options as well. If your looking for something sweet try this place out it won't disappoint.
Tremendous. We tried Miel Bon Bons casually and had a croissant, a chocolate chip cookie, and two drinkable chocolates. Never would we have expected to get such an amazing experience from all three.The croissant reminded us of Spain, the chips had a savory touch, and the chocolate brought us back to Ecuador (and still debating if it's the best we've ever tasted).If you like chocolate, desserts, or croissants, this is what the real deal tastes like.Wish I had a picture to upload, it was so tasty I forgot to snap it.
