I've gone often to another Peruvian restaurant named after a fuzzy animal (which I will not name here), but there is no competition there for Mi Peru. Excellent excellent food and service. The yucca fries were some of the best yucca I've ever had. You could easily spend $30 per person, but I got a great portion for $9.99 with the lunch special. If you want quality Peruvian food in Durham, this is the place to go!

For my Friday date I choose this wonderful restaurant and by the way allow me mention those, is the only one Peruvian restaurant in our area and is my second time here…thank you for how your are keeping quality and customer service.

Recommended! Everything was delicious and good portions. Fresh fish on the ceviche.

A little expensive ($14 per entré is about as inexpensive as it gets) and more money does not relate to quality. I tried two dishes, one was good enough to go back for and the more expensive one was not really not good. Restaurant itself was a bit outdated. I did expect it to be more budget friendly and at least a little better quality for the price.

Way too salty. Too much soy sauce. The beef is not very tender either.

Always good food. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food they serve.

Husband and I visited while staying in Durham. We were seated quickly and served without delay. There is an extensive Peruvian menu from which we choose Peruvian Chicken, fried plantains, pork chop, beans and rice. All were hot and so tasty. Outstanding sauce for dipping. So yummy. We will visit if we return here. All menu items were reasonably priced. Very pleasant service.

I went for lunch today and had excellent roasted chicken, plantains, and canary beans as well as yummy soup and a drink all for under $10.00. The service was great and fast. I will be back

I got the chicken and vegetable soup and the Cau Cau, they were both very delicious. This place has the best soup I’ve ever had anywhere else in the past. Alpaca is good but Mi Peru is better.

Stopped in for a late Sunday lunch. Charcoal chicken was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Tostones were hot and fresh. Will definitely be back!
