Absolutely delicious! Some of the best Mexican food in Durham. The restaurant is clean and customer service is amazing. Would highly recommend this! The tacos were delicious and red enchiladas were tasty. Will definitely be coming back
This place is amazing! Perfect service, perfect seating inside and out, and the food is AWESOME! My son had the green enchiladas and loved them. I had the shredded chicken burrito and I'd get it a million more times. The woman taking the order was so friendly and helpful explaining different menu items to me. I can't wait to go back again!
Pleasant Mexican restaurant with a healthy food menu. Great food for starters! There service is fast and attentive. Do try the Hibiscus tea - you'll want a refill!May be women owned and operated, but I am not sure (hopefully they can comment on this review).
Best part about this place is the fresh food, had a simple chicken burrito, added lettuce, sour cream, and tomatoes. This thing was Huge plenty for two. Very nice and accommodating server (each time I asked for more chips and salsa) ?, right on the main restaurant strip near Duke campus, casual inside dining with 2 outside tables. Would definitely recommend!
we had a delicious lunch today at mi calvillo— the food and atmosphere were lovely & the service was fantastic— shout out to our server, valeria who was so kind and helpful!! definitely will be back.
My wife and I were in town for a few days and found this place by searching Google. The reviews are spot on. Bottle of water was free, chips and salsa were fresh and delicious, and the Taco Party we ordered with 12 corn tacos with 4 different meats was excellent. These were like the street tacos we would have back in Texas. Perfectly authentic. Staff was very nice as well. Highly recommend this place.
My partner goes here almost every Sunday for their chorizo Tota !!! It's SO yummy ? - I don't have a picture, because the food is too good to be taking pictures first!The best Mexican food I've had (none of that Tex Mex nonsense here!) I actually carried a food parcel home to Canada with me the last time I visited Durham!Kind staff, clean restaurant, pretty quick service.
Delicious homemade Mexican. We got the House Burrito, Quesabirria taco, Diabla taco, rice & beans. Everything was flavorful and you can tell it was made with care. Agua Frescas were tasty too.
