Great food, Great staff, nice atmosphere

Food was excellent, service was excellent. Once I found this restaurant, I've been back several times.

Service was great. Menu was very appealing and good was just OK.

Anniversary

Gamy wife and I love Metro. The staff is always friendly and efficient. The food is excellent at a great price. Lastly, they serve the best mojito you’ll ever drink!!!

This was our 2nd time here, it was almost 2 years ago that were were here last. We've been wanting to bring friends of our with us, but just couldn't get our schedules in synch. First off, they've moved, they have only been in their current location for a few months. It through me off when we first pulled up, because I knew I hadn't been to this spot before, but was sure we had eaten here. We walked in and were seated immediately and our drinks ordered. We looked over the menu but we were pretty sure we know what we were going to get....the 8oz Churrasco steak. It was soooo good last time we wanted to get it again My wife also got a Caesar salad and a loaded baked potato with her meal and I just got fries. He salad came out quickly, but she forgot to ask for no croutons. I tired a few of them and they were VERY good, not too hard and they had a really nice flavor to them. Our entree's came out and cooked to perfection. The steaks were tender and so delicious. The dipping sauce that comes with it adds to flavor but doesn't over power the taste. About half way through the meal we ordered a chocolate soufflé, they make fresh so you have to give it 15-20 minutes to cook. Neither of us could finish our meal, just too much, please we had a lot of freshly baked bread and whipped butter...you just can't eat one. Just about the time we finished out meal, out came the souffle'. It was very good and light, so even though we were full, we were still able to eat and enjoy. Try Metro 8, you won't be disappointed.

Wonderful meal as always at Metro 8. One of our favorite restaurants in Durham. Caprese and churrasco were wonderful. service was attentive but not overwhelming.

Good food, reasonable prices and really nice people. Elliott was great!

After receiving a warm welcome from the owner we were led to a nice table near a wall which helps with any noise that may be around. Our waiter was very attentive and was always there just as we needed something. We did ease him when he came back and said they ran out of sweet tea. LOL. The mushroom soup was wonderful and could have had several bowls just for my dinner. Our steaks were all cooked to perfection as we had requested. We didn't have dessert this time. Small parking lot but still easier to find parking then at their old location.

We went early and it was a very relaxing experience. Very clean ambiance
