Fantastic brunch. The Baked Migas (Mexican egg dish) and fried to order crullers (doughnuts) in particular were outstanding. They have a machine that squeezes oranges so take advantage of the fresh OJ and order a mimosa! Be aware that proof of a COVID vaccination is required whether dining inside or outside.
Stopped here as a recommended by my brother and it was incredible! For a Saturday morning, we only had to wait about 7 mins for seats (for 4 people). Everything we ate was amazing. I had the migas and my husband had the chicken and biscuits. My kids enjoyed the pastries. The service was outstanding. Nice people, great food, highly recommend!
We had the chicken sandwich at Jack Tar for lunch. It was one of the best chicken sandwiches we have had. The chicken had a great flavor and the bun was soft. The fries were really good too. I love that they have outside seating. The waitress was super friendly and attentive. Tip: Take your covid vaccination card (or have a pic). Proof of vaccination is required for customers over 12 years of age.
My husband and I just had a great date night experience here!! The food, service, atmosphere, music, were all EXCELLENT! I am mad that we’ve driven past this place so many times and have never had an opportunity to come inside and check it out. The Szechuan pepper hot chicken was amazing and so was the mac & cheese. Shout out to the owner, and his entire team! They rocked it.
Excellent breakfast spot. We loved the mother and child reunion, the Julia Child omelette and the fresh-squeezed OJ (the machine is right there in the dining area!). They should let customers choose the oranges from a basket. The portions are generous and delicious. We will be back.
Stopped in for a drink and Appetizer Friday night on the bar side of Jack Tar. Glad to see things are starting to return to normal. Definitely recommend the cauliflower appetizer which was delicious and flavorful. Nice place to meet a friend for drink and snack !
The food here was AH-amazing! Made to order Crullers with blueberry compote and Chantilly Cream were perfection. Breakfast cocktails were tasty and left me a bit tipsy just after one! Mother and child Reunion was my entree and That poblano Gravy was so good I could have licked the plate! It took a little while to get our main entrees but it was well worth the wait! While waiting the smells were amazing every time butter hit the pan , or garlic sautéing it was a great experience!
