I ate here one day on a whim & quickly found out there’s no unsatisfying combination like other made-to-order/ barsvtyle restaurants.Even on my off days it’s completely worth it 30 minute drive because they always meet the mark.
Quick kbbq bowls (you don't cook the meat yourself). Pretty cheap, tastes legit, potentially healthy depending on what you get in bowl. Would go again.
At Itaewon Grill, the meal is what you make it! Load up on toppings, veg, sauces and meat. The portions are great, and they always seem to serve well. I like the Itaewon sauce (hint of spice) and garlic. The Sesame has a bit sweet flavoring and matches well with other flavors. The beef bulgogi has the best flavor of the meats, and has always been served warm in my experience. Mixing everything together makes the dish! Def try out different combos to see what your favorite is.
So I decided to try Itaewon after searching google for a high rated Korean bbq place since I haven’t been able to find many good places around this area. I had the large sized bowl with fried rice, edamame, sweet corn, bulgogi, and fried chicken. It was all really good! The downside is that my food was extremely cold. Like not warm at all. Other than the rice. That really kind of put a damper on my eating experience, especially being that it’s a chilly windy day and I was really looking forward to a hot bowl of comfort food. I would recommend this place, but only if I could ensure that the food was going to be hot and fresh once I got it. Maybe get it to go and warm it up at home?
Well worth a visit. I chose to dine-in, and was pleased. Order your base, then your vegetable choices, then sauce, and lastly protein.Also their wings are tasty if you get them before they run out.The staff was friendly and helpful, don't hesitate to ask questions.No photos from this visit, but I will return again and will have some then.
This spot has good food. I strayed from my normal bulgogi order and for chicken instead which wasn't bad. The sauce is a little spicier than I thought but didn't upset my stomach terribly. Tasted my wife's bulgogi and knew I should stick with what I like. It was great!
I wanted to like it but didn’t. I ordered the large online with the Hongdae Noodle, some veggies and the tofu, and with Gochujang Sauce. The flavor came out with a strange bitterness. Maybe another combo would be better.I also ordered a side of Mandu that I did not receive. Since I saw it wasn’t in the bag I asked about it and was told that it was inside of my bowl - it was not
This food is SO good. The food is hot and fresh, service is quick, and lots of indoor and outdoor seating. It's incredibly tasty and the meat is marinated and incredibly tender. The wings are so delicious. Definitely will be back!
My picture of my bowl does not do it justice in any way. The bowls here were treats for my mouth. Spicy and flavorful with some authentic flavors. Looking forward to eating here again!
This place has me coming back for more every time. Their beef bulgogi is amazing, especially paired with their Itaewon sauce. It Is to die for. The price is good for the amount of food which you receive. Definitely recommend.
