I love this place. Salads are great, clean environment, staff is nice, but I never seem to know when it is actually open. Google says it is open daily until 8pm but several times now I have expected them to be open and they are not. Someone should fix that.

The avocado toast is too good!!! We had it at dinner and had to come back for it the next morning!

Hale Caesar was super tasty and I think the price is fair. But the location, for me, is totally awful. No parking and people driving like maniacs, I’m sure there are accidents here all the time. I’ll try their other location next time.

Poor service and the staff isn’t knowledgeable about the ingredients in their food. They won’t make the effort to ask the kitchen either. Many people have food allergies—it’s important to be able to communicate what’s in your food.

I never share reviews, especially ones that are critical of service workers, but this place is ridiculous. It must be a management issue because no other Happy + Hale has issues like this. Don’t count on them being open 8-8 because I can’t remember the last time they kept the business hours they purport to have- if your hours are 10-8 and not 8-8, just say that. People on their way to work won’t stop by at 9 AM thinking you’re open, only to be welcomed by a sticky note on the door…every single day. Additionally, don’t go in after 6 PM because they shut everything down 2 hours early and pretend like they don’t have stuff that they don’t want to make/don’t want to clean up after. The quality of food (and especially smoothies) are nowhere near the other locations. Go to the University Drive location- not a total waste of gas for the better food and more reliable business operations.

I came In after my workout to get a smoothie with my wife and two children. I walked up to the counter to order and the two girls working looked at me, smiled, and continued putting the drink dispensers that were behind the counter back where they belonged; as they were doing when I walked up. I figured they would finish doing the task they were doing and then take my order. One started washing her hands and putting on gloves….I’m thinking to prepare to take my order. But the two girls start talking. I’m having small talk with my kids during this time, discussing the smoothies we’re going to get. After about 5 minutes of this awkward standoff with these two young ladies, I decided they must really not be trying to service me and mine. We were not greeted (mind you, they did smile at us from behind their masks) not did they ask what we would like. They probably knew we wanted smoothies from our conversations in front of them, but not once did they address us as they were ready to take our order. I was annoyed and left. As I’m walking out, another customer is waking in. She was greeted and asked what they could get for this new customer….would have been nice to have been asked the same thing. I probably won’t ever take my business there after that interaction.

Great customer service, nice atmosphere. the food was absolutely delicious, and surprisingly very filling for a vegan option. I had the " Hail Cesar."

Really enjoyed our Hale Caesar kale salad and green juice. Excellent choice for a healthy quick lunch. Dressing was delicious. Loved the crunchy chickpeas. And the buffalo gluten free cauliflower was so good!

I ordered the Beyond Bulgogi bowl. I would like to say it was amazing, but it wasn't. The meatballs were overcooked/dry. The remaining ingredients were flavorful and on point. The service was remarkable. However those meatballs is the #1 hindrance keeping this from being a 5/5 visit.I'll try something else next time.

Amazing customer service! Ariel and Lily were exceptional. Great vibes, great food!
