Stopped by the Fayetteville store location to receive an excellent customer service experience. Totally surprised to find new ownership and had my expectations exceeded.The food was outstanding with ample portions, and if you like iced tea, be sure to try it here, reminds me of old fashion family reunion style.Highly recommend this restaurant committed to your satisfaction.
First off this place is one of my favorite stops when I'm on the road working. They have changed ownership but the service is really more personal now. The food is fried to perfection and this is my third visit and I've had no discrepancies in how the food was prepared. The portions are excellent everything is seasoned well and for the price the value is in line with market prices.
The food is hit or miss. It's not very good at all now. I know they switched owners but to me it has no flavor or seasoning for it to be in a black neighborhood and for the prices that you're charging the food should be on point and it's not,smh. The customer service is good except when the young girl that was at the register last week was rude while taking orders in person and over the phone.The last thing I'm going to mention is that yall are going to have to fix that ac. If you're going to be slow in making the food then the customer needs to be comfortable while waiting. It was EXTREMELY HOT when I went in there and the fan is not helping. I want to continue supporting but it needs major improvements

I gave 1 star because I had to. A zero rating is what it should be. Lived in the area for over three years and now drive 20 minutes just to get what I thought was good food. Everything was DISGUSTING. I wasted $35 dollars for food not fit for a dog to eat. The cook was the cashier and he took orders with his glove on and didn't change it when he went to the back. The floor sweeper is the salad maker who went from sweeping the floor to making my salad which didn't make it in the bag ? (thank God for looking out). Once I get home what I thought was a salad was french fries (burned by the filthy grease) I called to see why my salad wasn't in the bag and all the cook could say was "my bad bro", please get some professionalism about yourself, as a business owner myself I would never address a customer this way. I had to throw the food away because of the holes in the styrofoam container that the clump of a hush puppy burned through. Unable to eat the fish, fried beyond recognition. Only thing that was half decent was the potato salad and I know Food Lion potato salad with some extra Hellman's anywhere ??♂️Anyone who wants to eat here... don't cause it is nothing like it use to be. YOU HAVE BETTER OPTIONS AT KFC. THEY DO NOT WEAR GLOVES or CHANGES THE GLOVE THEY HAVE ON.Attaching pictures so no one thinks I'm not telling the truth
Food was amazing. Catfish literally melts in your mouth. Crispy, not dry. Lemonade was great. Corn was nice and spicy (I told them to put Obay seasoning on it). Great food.
I really hate to do this but...I have been a customer of GG's for quite some time. The food had always been good. I was surprised but happy to learn the place is now black family owned so I expected the food to be a great as it usually is. Sadly ....it was not. My shrimp was over cooked...almost burnt but not quite. And they need to throw the whole hushpuppy recipe away and start over. The young men..the son's were very nice...customer service I give them 5 stars. I think they should change the name to reflect new ownership
It was our 1st time coming to this establishment and I'm so grateful that we did. The food was so delicious. The lemonade is homemade & it reminded me of the one my grandma use to make; it was so refreshing. The customer service is absolutely amazing. We give it a 10 out of 10 ?
I wish I could give 5 stars. The fish was BANGIN!!! I loved it. It was hot and fresh. I was highly disappointed with the mac and cheese. It is almost like a deception. As a first time customer, I didn’t know the mac and cheese was not baked. Most restaurants get real creative the mac and cheese when it’s not baked. Where deception comes in is you look at the mac and cheese and it appears to be well seasoned. But, when you taste it, there is absolutely no flavor at all. You should be ashamed of yourselves serving bland mac and cheese. Where they do that at??? GG’s I suppose. Y’all need to do better than that. Otherwise, the fish is great.
Chicken was extremely huge and tough and not seasoned the same … I had no idea that the Greek guy no longer owned this restaurant they should really change the name bc people are being fooled thinking they getting real Gigi’s … plus cashier is unfocus but very pleasant
