Pulled pork, banana pudding were awesome. Brisket was dry but taste was good.
Solid place. Consistent. Has been for years. Potato salad is unique and great! Also good for your heart as it makes you wonder if that was a vertically challenged individual standing behind you with a Trombone.........oh and the Brunswick Stew is made within the guidelines specified in the manual of being "from here". Notice i didn't mention the Meat. Because there's nothing to mention other than it's CORRECT AND PROPER SON!
Great food. Good place to go with coworkers for lunch in rtp. Only open for lunch on weekdays though. Go gators!

Chopped pork was bland. They hide the flavor of the pork with Texas toast and sauce. The potato salad taste like straight mayonnaise. Sauce was great, but will not be going back.
Meal was delicious! Got some ribs, brisket, and Mac & cheese. Super quick and hot food ?

The brisket was most excellent. The smoked smoked chicken and the sides I had were okay. Very reasonable price for the amount of food you get.
Excelente! Very very good bbq, sides and fantastic banana pudding. Great friendly staff. You will not be disappointed and you will come back to get the biggest size plate the next time.
Great BBQ - even if it is "Texas Style." Choose your sauce. Always bumpin' environment that is popular with the RTP lunch crowd. Friendly staff. Very scrumptious sides.Nice slice of "Texas" toast. Would prefer hushpuppies. But, hey. Again - "Texas Style" BBQ.I stop in about once a week now. You should as well. (Even though NC BBQ is better - sorry. I'm a biased North Carolinian! But seriously -- good food here, folks.)
