love the fried mozzarella and the spinach salad is surprisingly good.
My daughter and I visited last night and this was the best homemade burger I have eaten in a very long time. Dain’s I will be back tonight! Wait time was great. And best believe the burger was so big that I could only eat half of it!!!

Tar Heel in the belly of the beast, came here and damn, real nice place with its own unique personality. The food was excellent and they got a good selection of rotating drafts. If I was a local, this would be a staple. Got the Defibrillator and the Dainer, their two signature burgers. Really unique, I loved the Difibrillator, never had a burger with a hot dog on it, but it works, especially when you have a massive appetite. The tots were superb, and got dragon’s milk stout, which was bottled but one of best stouts I’ve had.
The burgers here are the best around! Love that you can still have a meaningful chat with the bartenders. Even when it’s busy - there’s a sincerity in their service!
Went after a DPAC event. Not as crowded as around the DPAC and the food was really good, great service. Perogies on the menu and they were really good served with sour cream, as they should be.Burgers fresh and cooked to order. Large beer selection with lots of local NC brews.
Staying in the area for a couple of days and needed to grab a bite. Did some exploring and found this spot near by. Other options were available but this kept beckoning us. Has a very community feel, there was a small wedding reception happening while we were there., is small in space, a bit loud but very warm and welcoming. Beer selection was very good and the drinks well made. The food we had was exceptional, my wife had a rueben and I did the Dain Burger, both fantastic. Tots were super as were the fries. Two folks managed the house and were able to be very attentive. Would highly recommend.
