The food was alright. The guy making the sushi was rude and this was not his first time. He ignored my spouse and the only acknowledgement was a "shoo" of the hand like he was dismissing us. We asked for the manager so that we can get the sushi we wanted but no one ever came. We decided that after all these years of eating here we weren't going back.
I enjoyed ALL the items at China King. With unlimited trips to the buffet. There was also a Sochi Chef who was creating Sochi. There was fresh cut up fruit, and An ice cream bar with many choices of ice cream and sorbet.
The food was overall good and fresh. A lot of the dishes didn't have a sign so it was difficult to know what a certain dish was. There were no refills for our drink, which was a little disappointing since drinks are not at all cheap here.
It's a good place to eat if you are not picky eater its been good the few times I have gonna I wonder if they still have the fill in dumpings not sure if it's pinaapple it was something yellow or orange inside of them they were so good but have not been able to eat them when I go any body know very good food price is good to recommend it
The best Chinese buffet I’v experienced in NC! The sushi and bowl stations just enhance the selection. The price for all you can eat is only one of the reasons I keep returning!
Employees aren’t the nicest, they don’t really talk to you or greet you mainly because the ones in front are kids. Place is clean though and food is good, doesn’t smell bad like other China buffets.
Needed a quick lunch and this was a close by option. Large inside seating no outside seating that I could tell on our visit. The buffet style food was ok nothing special but it was clean and everything in the restaurant was well cared for. The staff were ok and at the end of the day the cost wasn’t bad. Is it something I’d go again for probably not but one time maybe here and there sure. Group favorites desserts, the lomein, and generals chicken. Cheers!!!
Online menu out of date. It says $10.99 for weekday adult buffet dinner. We were charged $17.19 each. Not a minor difference. Food is worth $11. Not at all worth $18. The ice cream is ok. Fruit is not fresh, everything on the buffet is dry. Server was at least very attentive.
Decent selection didn't even know they had an hibachi grill til I went or desert. Would suggest advertising the hibachi better or move it out towards the buffet tables where it can be seen more easily.
I went there a couple time. The ? food are alright. But the soup is suck. Other then the soup every is good.
