I've been coming to Captain D's since 1975 the one on 54/55 I can tell a change over the years I am a white person and they are very much discriminatory anytime I have went through the drive-thru the last three or four years I have waited to wait almost anywhere from 35 to 45 minutes for an order anybody in front of me has ordered and gotten their order within five to 10 minutes I was married to a black man and when I would take him with me in line we were out of there in 10 minutes now when I would go by myself I was in and out of there within 45 for an hour I hate to say this about a business but they are definitely discriminatory against white people I love Captain D's and I have patronus this business for years since I was a little girl and this really disappoints me as I said when I have my black husband with me process is no simple I get it out of there 5 to 10 minutes when I'm buying myself as a white woman I am anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour!!!And it was offend some people but there's the premise discrimination on both sides and this is definitely a discrimination in business!!!
Went here 2 days in a row. Cold food last night and waited forever both visit. Really craving the fish I used to eat when I was pregnant. But don't come here in a hurry. I've gone through drive-thru both times and it's a HOT LONG MESS!!. Got poor customer service today too. SMH
Last time I visited the food and service was great, however, this time I drove a while to get to this location only to find that they closed at least 20 minutes early....
I was very disappointed with the service, and especially the food. I couldn't eat the shrimp,it was hard as a brick. I spoke to the manager. He was very unprofessional, very rude to me. I told him I will tell all my friend about my visit. Being there were 2 peoples in the back. I waited 15 minutes for this. Unexpectable. Poor service!!
The food is Serve hot and delicious... you have to wait a little bit but it's worth the wait! The best captain D I been...
They gave me a hassle after coming back to get a credited shrimp skewer. I explained to them I do not live nearby them. I also placed an order with them last week and they screwed my order up. They gave me broccoli instead of fried okra. Then they want to complain when they mess up your order.
It is so worth the wait in the drive thru. The team members were nice,efficient and extremely nice. Made sure we had enough silverware and sauces for our Family Meal.
Cook to order is one of the few reasons the wait is acceptable. They are the only fast food restaurants where the cooking is so fresh..
Very unnecessary long wait. Only 3 people working. Furniture outdated and worn. Food was fine
They give you a lot of food, which is alright with me. The Mac and cheese was good, the okra was Great, the Cole slaw was serviceable and all the fish, shrimp and crab cakes was hot and freshly made (3pm-ish). You get a good deal for the money. Always love D's.
